hmm the overseas version would be much cheaper in most countries. for example, the japanese version of ayu's cd is like sixty bucks in singaporecurrency, but the overseas version only cost twenty bucks.

yes, overseas version usually released in both formats: dvd and vcd, and only vcd will hv chinese subtitles, but u hv to give up picture quality

The best thing to do is this: http://www.cdrlabs.com/kprobe/index.php download the lasted verswion of k-probe and you can use it to play Japanese and Chinese DVDs, any region you want. It is much better than buying the VCD, because the VCD it much less quality than an actual DVD.

be patient.. i've already called hmv and they said they havent got any news, but they would contact me once they get the DVD. so once i get hold of news i would post up here. i think they offered to contact me once the DVD arrives because ive been hounding them for the past few days.

for HK, a boss of a CD store said it will be released around 20th Sept, but not sure if it's correct..anyway, hv to wait longer =(

I've got pretty many poor experiences with HMV heeren. I went over few times to ask for a gackt cd in the past and gave them my no. They assured me that they'll call me when it arrives but they never did. It was my friend who called me when he spotted the cd and when I arrived, it was the last piece left. And the sales person there then told me it arrived 2 days ago. What the hell..

Just to let you know, HMV is that unreliable at times.

really? oh man. why are they like that. i just called them ( yes im still calling them even though they promise to call, lol), and they said that the local distributors have not tell them news about arena tour 05. argh. so long! im dying to watch. im about to die waiting!

Hopefully that's an error because they haven't received the DVD yet and aren't sure.. I hope a real tax-paying store wouldn't sell bootlegs! :-\ I want to buy from there so I'll email and ask if it's officially licensed by Axex.

Playasia still hasn't shipped mine out, though it says they are in stock. Also, they raised the price to $25 after I placed my order.. so I wonder if I'll get charged the extra.
You're better off going with Yesasia now that Playasia has raised their price.
