Hopefully they credited the artist because it's an amazing vector. If not then that's just plain rude. I don't mean for it to sound snobby, however I know that as an artist I hate it when people steal my stuff and say it's theirs.

.. but then again.. that sorta stuff unfortunatly happens alot to people who are deviant art *is almost glad her art isnt good enough*

I think someone should get intouch with the guy who made the vector and find out if he knows they used it. If not i can smell a law suit lol

I don't know if, legally, they have to do anything for the use of Ayumi's image (not sure of Japanese laws in this case). Ayumi's image is used in dramas and anime on occasion, as well, and no one ever mentioned legal stuff then.

I left a note for the guy on deviant art.. hopefully he'll respond to it..
since it's like to see his reaction.. I showed him the two pictures.. the first of just the screencap with the small portion.. then the part with his vector in it to show what we all saw.. I guess we will see (hopefully) what he says!

Deviant: *cd-marcus (#199368262) Date: Dec 12, 2005, 4:34:03 AM hey, thank you! and i can't believe on this... i've never been contected by the company responsible for the game, never! i'll check my previous notes and emails to have sure, but i think i'd remember if i had given permission for using my work in a game. this is not a simple case, like taking the image to make a wallpaper or something... it's a game and they are selling many copies using my work (well, it's a small part of it in, but it still is my work!) and i should, at least, have been contacted and have my name published in the credits. thanks a lot for informing me, i'll look for assistance and see what is possible to do. Needless to say he was not very happy about it.. .. I wouldn't be either.
