Info reported in a few places:

Quote:
A last single will be released with ex-band member Mutya Buena called "Spiral", which has been produced by William Orbit. The single which is scheduled for release in February 2006, will be on Orbit's new album "Waveforms".

On the 17th of January, Jo Whiley played 'Red Dress' on her show with the new vocals of Amelle. It was the first time fans and the general public will have heard Amelle sing with the current line up. 'Red Dress' will be released on the 6th of March.

Amelle has already re-recorded the vocals and re-shot the album cover for Sugababes' latest album, Taller In More Ways, which will be re-issued in the UK next week. The album is set to include full vocals from Amelle, as well as 2 brand new tracks called 'Strung Out' and 'Now You're Gone'. Plus, 'Joy Division' has turned into a crunk track, by Amelle's suggestion.

I'm not sure I'll buy the album, since I dislike it when artists change just a couple of things. I know, it's not just a couple with Amelle's vocals in all songs, but I don't think they'll be such an improvement that I'll just have to listen to them instead of the versions with Mutya that I've already paid for.

Popjustice has a 30s preview of Sugababes covering Artic Monkeys' I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor. Their version is pretty great, but after hearing it and the new Red Dress I feel that Amelle's (she's of Moroccan descent, BTW) vocals aren't such a good fit for the group.

The new version of Taller In More Ways has leaked, but there's only 3 re-recorded songs with Amelle (Red Dress, Gotta Be You and Follow Me Home) and one new song: Now You're Gone. Amelle sounds pretty good in Gotta Be You and Follow Me Home, and Now You're Gone is one good song

I've also heard on UKMIX that Keisha said that they were starting to work on some new music

im huge fan of mutya and my dream was that she leaves from sugababes.. dont like so poppy groups which are so fake, i listened them just because of mutya who gave them that special touch. different note. everythin that she sings is so fantastic.

yes, she was dropped. hm... they blame last 2 singles that were flops (just a little bit and b boy baby) but.. promotion was really really bad. i have feeling that they wanted to get ridd of her time ago. :/
i hope she'll get some decent label that will promote her the way she deserves.

She should. She wasn't thinking straight all she saw was a chance to go solo. But not everyone is a solo artist some people are just made for groups.

I think Mutya should re-join the group and make it a 4-piece. God would that sound amazing. But Amelle has really made the group complete so i dont see it happening.

this, and also the album just honestly wasn't that great. it had a couple of good songs, but it was mostly boring filler, imo. Mutya could've done so much better, I think, and the pre-album demos showed that.

hopefully her next album will be better.

Personally, I thought Mutya's album didn't really have standout tracks. I wish she'd stayed a Sugababe, but I'm not surprised her solo career is in difficulties.
