I really wonder why they made those changed. The single version is so much better IMO

well, on the single it does say "original mix" so they just modified it for the album. its not like its the first time it has happened ^^ plus, most of u have the original mix anyway, so why complain? ^^

I prefer the Single Version but what the heck ... I love them all! Haha, (miss) understood packs a punch absolutely! So many single worthy songs up here! Hehe, like Criminal and (miss) understood! Love them love them love them! I wouldn't mind if alterna was rerecorded ... just hope they retain the single version on the DVD!

Hehe okay so I was right...they "hey hey hey"'s in the album version is a bit too muted I think...or I'm just too used to to the single one. <shrugs>

Oh I'm not complaining... I just wish I would have known that's all...
Since no one would upload the full album I kinda got the songs from the singles and I had no idea that they were gonna be diffrent versions... >.<
That's why I asked if any of the other songs were different versions... >.<

omg ew, I just listened to the album version and it is very freaky! How they morphed ayu's voice and it just sounds really frightening, to me.

I love the single version, but the album version sounds a little weird.
Is only the 'Hey' part different?

The album version as a whole is mixed a bit different though... the volume is ALOT more constant, it's much easier to listen to (IMHO). The "hey hey"s don't sound better, but there are places where the original version is really choppy & harsh, and the album version fixes that.

Listening again, i think the drums on STEP you may be a BIT heavier but I'd have to listen to the original again.

I'll know for sure what's a new mix and what's the original when i see the album's mixing credits.

I noticed that too. It's almost as if the song was remixed on a flat equalizer setting, hence why the background vocal is more difficult to hear. Regardless, the "Heys" still bug me. In the original the "Heys" sound just like an electric guitar being strummed which matches the sound of the song, yet now they sound like someone yelling into a beer bottle.
