Koda Kumi out of that list... tho I hate a lot of her music, her voice is amazingly unique.

My favourite female vocalist and FAVOURITE vocalist of all time is Keiko Yamada. Her voice is amazing ^_^

I picked Angela Aki b/c I love her voice, if Namie was on here she'd be my 2nd pick, and Ayu would be my 3rd and Mink would be tied w/ Namie.

umm I know we weren't supposed to complain, but none of my favourite vocalists were there, the one presented aren't even my top 5.

But I voted for Utada Hikaru, I think her voice is nice. I'd vote for mika nakashima, but I don't think she's as skilled as Utada, she messed up glamorous sky in one spot. Her voice is perfect for her usual stuff like LEGENC and love addict.

This way it would've been more variety, all the ones listed have kind of deep and earthly voices compared a lot of japanese singers, which isen't my favourite type of voice. (that's one of the reasons why I like jpop, because they don't sound as "manly" and deep and throaty as many of the american girls (Anastacia, aguilera and lots of gospel singers)

Kuu's voice is WAY nasal and Hikaru's voice isn't strong, IMO (OMG, her concerts are a bit painful to watch and hear), THEREFORE

I think Hikaru Utada has no special Voice like Kumi or Ayu.

Out of the list I chose Kuu, she appeals me the most out of these. But out of all, I'd say Ayu, Chihiro Onitsuka and ayaka. Their voices just are so beautiful, strong and full of emotion.
