I first started getting into her with Crazy 4 U. So, about...2004? Darn, and I hit 2003. Oh well.

I like her music just fine. And she's cute. I'd say I'm a fan. And I just bought her second session 3-disc thing. :whistle

I was a fan in early 2005..very early..she was the first artist i heard that was Japanese and i instantly fell in love...I became a true fan once i hear Selfish loved the song still do

Now she is my most fav artist of all time...i love all the stuff she produces and i drove about 10 hours to see her preform O_O

I don't really care about her image and persona, and she has a few songs I like, my favourites being trust your love (I used to know it by heart) and cutey honey (the songs I can like somewhat are DDD, HOt stuff and with your smile and star). I also have a huge problem with her voice, because I don't really like it much at all. So her medicore songs that I might've enjoyed if I LOVED her voice (like in the case of shimatani hitomi) don't reach me, this is especially true in ballads.

I'm not really a "fan" of any artist, I listen to the music I like only, but because I seem to like almost every song ayumi ever sung, I think it's somewhat a grey zone. So I voted NO WAY!

I started liking Kuu, well the first songs i ever heard by her were 1000 no kotoba, and Real Emotion. I LOVED her voice, so rich and deep. Then I saw that video, the 9/11/01 Peace Concert that was on Music Station, it had Ayu, Keiko, Boa, Kuu, Namie, VERBAL...yeah, okay, everyone and their cousins have seen this vid. I just really liked her voice. And I liked her since then.

I don't know if I'm a fan or not. I enjoy some of her music, but I'm not really that fond of her sexy image(I don't mind sexy. But it's just too much of an "in-your-face-sexiness" that just gets on my nerves). Her voice sometimes can get really grating (I dunno, it's wierd to explain. Sometimes it's nice, but sometimes it's just horrible).

I guess I have to put no way, but I do love some of her songs.

I became a fan after Secret came out.

As soon as I heard "Hot Stuff" I was hooked

Reasons I like Kumi Koda:

She's an awesome singer (she can sing anything)
She's very sweet, caring and kind
She's sexy and cute
She's a great dancer
She's a great performer
She's a hard worker
She's dedicated
She's has a fun personality

I agree

I became discovered her thru FFX-2. but I really became a fan around 'Secret' , nothing before that album by her had really grabbed my attention. nowdays I like her older songs too tho.

I started liking her around her second album, which I LOVED. I've thought that all her albums since then have been disappointing. There are tracks I like, but not an album that I like as completely. She does have some catchy songs though.

I used to think she was the only one who could possibly replace Ayu as J-POP Queen, and actually deserve it...but I'm not sure I really believe that anymore.

Edit: Thinking about it, it would be "The Meaning of Peace" single. At that time I was really into BoA yet, and their duet turned me on to Koda Kumi's music.

LOL i am one of the many few that have been with Kuu since her debut i seen her perform live in New York years ago lol she was HOT!!!! i immediately bought Take Back and Trust Your love!!! i now own Secret Special edition for the live, A barely untouched Hot Stuff cd/dvd, First best things and best second session and You and Birthday Eve!!! i am in love with Kuu !!! she is such an awesome singer!!! and performer now lol

She got some okey songs, but I don't like her that much anymore, loved her around Christmas time..but the whole "SexY image" are bothering me....

the songs that got me liking kuu is Star and into your heart. i think i really liked her because her voice is a little deeper and not so high pitch, but that 'sexy image' suits her but isn't good

I was playing FFX-2 and then heard Real Emotion then I downloaded the Japanese version cause I love it and then I saw her PV and it was HOT! I liked it when she sexed herself up and touch herself while dancing, that was cool. The song is the best, I love it cause I can totally dance to it.

No. I dislike her music a lot. I don't think she is a horrible artist but she just doesn't appeal to me in general.
