^ Honestly, I really don't care if she's #1 or #10, alongs she stays in the top ten, I'll be happy. But I kinda think her days are numbered. Then again, a #1 wouldn't hurt.

Mai's record is safe; she came in at #9 on the weeklies, with 21,969 copies sold. =] YAY! I'm surprised that she didn't chart better, usually 20K+ means you have a good chance of breaking the top 5...

NEW SINGLE
Following the release of Yume ga Saku Haru earlier this year, Kuraki Mai returns with her second single of the year, 一秒ごとに Love for you (Ibbyougoto ni Love for you), to be released on 2008.7.9. The single is described as an upbeat shiny tune and will be used as the new opening theme of the Detective Conan anime. To balance things out, the coupling will be a mellow love song. The single will be released in limited CD+DVD and regular CD-only editions. Yay for a new Mai single. I hope it doesn't BOMB on the charts this time. I'm looking forward to the cover for the most part. Mai always have such pretty covers.
What? The Detective Conan serious is still going on?!  I thought that serious was so over with by now.  Whatever! This is a nice tie-in for Mai, so I hope the single does well on the charts and sounds good when I hear it.

Mai looks pretty on those covers. Her covers are always pretty. I'm in the Mai mood right now. i just dled some of her older songs and I really luv her R&B style. I wish she do more of those....not that I have a problem with her NOW music. It just seems that people are losing more and more interest in her music.  I hope she does well on the charts with this single. I need for her to stop the Conan tie-ins though.  I want her to have a drama tie-in.
