I'd say the most likely thing is that he's either on a break, or he's had an injury which stopped him from participating.

SKYia, I think the right arrow that says Mitsu is Shu-Ya, but the picture is really low quality.

I checked through BLUE BIRD, where she credits all her dancers with names, and no Mitsu or Naoto.
