Tokyo Jihen's 3rd single came out then, Shuraba. It was really different from their previous works and it was even different from what was changed on the album. Its probably my favorite Tokyo Jihen single. Rakujitsu was such a beautiful song.

Now that you mention it, and lookin at that list, 2005 (ahaha at first I typed 3006) was pretty awesome! Lots of great releases!

I'm not going to say I'm sorely disappointed with this year, but yeah, 2005 wa pretty great. I remember 2003 being tops as well. (That was also the year I got into mainstream J-music)

i agree, 2005 was the peak of JPOP, lately (with the exception of Black Cherry) JPOP has been dull.

2005 was one of the busiest years for sure. 2006 was a little slow compared to 2005 to me but I liked OLIVIA's comeback. As for 2007, right now it's going so slow and pretty dull.

Yep, I agree that 2005 was really good. It also had DEF DIVA. ^_^ I think ti was a lot better than 2006, allthough there of course were some memorable tracks coming out. Now let's see how 2007 turns out....

Yup. 2005, 2003, 2004 were good years. 2006 was blah and 2007 is ... not very interesting.

Yup it was a great year (talking about the J-music industry) but I don't miss it, it just passed and that's all. Ami did her major comeback in Avex that year, that was good (亜美ちゃん♥ ^o^) , but Do As Infinity disbanded -that wasn't so good- (._.)

2005 was around the time where I really got into J-Pop, and it was definitely a wonderful year to. Some of my favorite songs of all time were released during that period (Ayu's STEP you, Otsuka Ai's Planetarium, etc.).
