What a good idea for a thread. I discovered quite a few this year, but I'm not really in love with any of them.

J-Pop:
Otsuka Ai (I used to HATE her voice)
Takasugi Satomi (only really like two songs though)
Leah Dizon (bought her album for Christmas)
alan (more potential than either of the previous two)
KANA (crazy ****** right there)
Maeda Yuki (great Enka singer)
Aural Vampire

C-Pop:
Faye Wong (previously only knew Eyes On Me)
Kelly Chen
A-mei

Ai Otsuka
Britney Spears (well she took a long break didn't she? Blackout got me back into her lol)

Just two artists for me...

Ayaka:
She changed my aspects on music a lot...for some reason her album was amazing for me!...Which isn't normal because I usually only like 3/4 of the songs on an album and for it being her debut and going past the million mark...anways back to the point I love how her voice blends with any song she's doing.

Kanade:
I was watching IMF on my gma's sattelite, it's was the episode called One World where it does 1 vid from a few countries, japan's played Kanade's Ring The Alarm...but sadly I can't find this song or any albums or a discography from her at all...
