"Me", "the girl", "you" are just the examples of "we" in the next stanza.

I think she is just generalizing... like instead of saying "all of us" she just counts herself and you and girl as in "the other person" it's just a way to make it more relatable.

Technically, it's a gender neutral word, but in usage, it's different. 99% of the time the Japanese say 'ano ko' it's referring to a young woman. Or a REALLY little kid.

I'm also trying to see how the lyrics (which are really nice, btw) have anything to do with marionettes. Maybe marionettes are expressionless, but that's a bit of a stretch. I don't get any impression of fate or being pulled by strings in this song. It just sounds cool.
