Difference between single and album songs

some of the song in A BALLADS are said to have different arrangement but i dont see any in appears, SEASONS and who... and it is said that hanabi (not too sure) has a slightly different mix too, but i didnt hear the difference

Hiya I was just curious, because I've seen this around a lot -- which of Ayu's single tracks have actually been different on singles than from how they appear on their respective albums? I know that "alterna" is different, but I'm not sure about some of the others.

And I'm sorry if a thread like this already exists. I know that there's been a lot of threads asking about the differences of songs on A COMPLETE, and those queries just reminded me of my own.

appears is different because it's a HAL's progress mix (I think). SEASONS is a 2003 ReBirth mix and Who... is an Across the Universe mix. If you listen to the original versions of these songs along with the A BALLADS counterparts you can definitely hear a difference

Regarding "TO BE", I made a post at ayu-mi-x quite some time ago explaining very specifically what the differences are, and it includes short sound clips of the exact parts I'm talking about.

So you can read the description of what's different, and then listen to sound clips side-by-side so you can hear for yourself.
