homg. Just finished reading the previous thread that I TOTALLY missed. @_@ my, that one went fast.

Thoughts on Under:
The song starts out Arabian ish but soonly I realised it's a whole new never-done-before style. IMO ^^ It's good, but repetitive. I found her voice soft and thought the way the first 2 minutes were sung very "pre chorus" like, with lots of background vocal.

When the song got to the bridge I was like "huh, the song's starting only now??" cos her voice was the clearest there somehow :s

Overall the song is repetitive, though it starts out strong and the bridge is strong. But I still like it. It sounds haunting in my mind, and I am listening to it again now. So i must like it haha

About the PV:
It's kinda confusing. The Arabian theme at first.... and some of the moves seemed like Candy-inspired moves. Like, what way do you want to go? Get into Arabian themed dancing or not. XD seemed like it was a mix of random dance moves. Especially the leg split thing (how do you call it) seemed out of place. But her legs weren't totally straight, the knees were slightly bend. So I think there was no trick, filming that (as someone said somewhere)

The outfit... dunno. For some reason I was watching very focusedly, tho I don't like "sexy kuu". But this was sexy without crossing the ****ty limit, imo. I even liked it xD the choreography is good.

I LOVE THE DARK-HAIRED KUU! I wonder why they didn't have more/clearer scenes with that hair and outfit. -_-

Too bad they didn't make a nice, more interesting PV. I mean the dark outfit is supercool and we hardly see her in that scene,... and the phone picking up at the start left me thinking it'd be very interesting to watch.

I feel kinda weird listening to the song, as if it's an on-going chorus. But I still like it too o_o odd.

Reading the last thread someone said they thought all Kingdom PVs would be crappy like this, cos it's lowbudget. But people thought the same with the 12 singles in 12 weeks and most of those PVs turned out fine I think. SoI'm hopeful!

PS. the Scawaii cover reminds me of Girls ~selfish~ cover.

PS2: now I know how I feel about Under. It's as if it's an interlude and I feel like I'm waiting for the actual song to start. XD anyone feels like that?

Under: The song sucked, there isn't a good hook to the song and it's being overwhelmed by the thumping 'urban' beats. The PV sucked too, terrible outfit, bad dancing moves, lackluster flow. Blah, everything about it sucked. Why can't she make her good fun pop songs that aren't the cutesy kind. You know like Crazy 4U, Color of Your Soul, m-a-z-e, or any of those things.

Sometimes I do miss the songs that Ku used to make, even though I hadn't even heard of her at that point, damn it, sometimes I wish I wasn't listening to rubbish at that point, but I still like her new songs. I liked Under, the PV was just not as good as I expected it to be.

I miss those old songs too. I was just listening to COLOR OF SOUL and now Can't Lose. Man <333 I love Can't Lose so much. It's one of my most favourite Kuu songs.

I think the Under PV and song are great~! It's a change from some of her stuff lately, especially after anytime, which is very cutesy and poppy. I also loved the black-haired and black-outfitted Kuu, so sexy! Reminded me of Ayu in one of the shots too. Overall, I love it, and can't wait to listen to the rest of the album and see the remaining PVs.

The song is okay... but not as good as Crazy 4 U or Selfish. I liked the sexyness, but I prefer it when she sings those urban songs with a more powerful voice... Her vocals sucked in this song to be honest. The PV was really good though

I'd vote "hot" for "Under". Although a bit repetitive, I find it pretty good.

The song was okay. Not something that would wow me, but not bad either. I just wish she could have used a stronger voice to really gave some attitude to this song. About the PV, I'm gonna repeat what I said in the other thread:

I dunno, it's not that I think a good dance PV needs to have a lot of dancers, but having only her in the PV made all these negative spaces that even the background couldn't fill, and I found that it just doesn't look right, which ended up making the PV looked like it was made on a shoestring budget. I like the vibrant colors, but in the end, it was overwhelmed by negative space.

IMO a better PV that didn't went way over the top but still had great deal of just dancing is Crazy 4 U PV, without the big budget, but just getting two more dancers made the PV looked a lot less empty.
