They should've put the western songs into a category like 'best western songs' maybe

I mean
it's MTV Japan, it's not even the same as MTV asia awards

and ayu really made her promise though
never get into any nominees lol

she should have Marionette as best female video
talkin' 2 myself / decision as best rock video
and Together When... as best pop video lol

true , it defeats the whole purpose of calling it the MTV Video Music Awards Japan for nothing .

they shouldn't put ang mo & local japanese acts together in the same category

I think the network people casts the nominations based on what videos were a popular hit on the network.
