I thought Ayu sounded great in both her official recording of the song and her lives. To be honest, I was imagining Namie singing the "Jida-i wa horAAAAA~" part of the song and I, well, I couldn't imagine it very well. -_-

I think Ayu is the only person who could pull that song off. It'd be cool to hear others sing it (or any Ayu songs) though, like Utada, Namie, or Kuu.

aw da-yum, Namie would nail it. she has the most sexiest, womanly, lady-like, aggressive hot voice to perfectly cover it!!! iono, Namie's voice screams "girl pride" to me. listen to "All For You". she has a powerful voice, and it's womanly! it'll be perfect!

but considering Ayu's voice NOW.... she should do a re-recording of that song. THAT would be the ultimate. then, no one can do better, of course.

yeah. I really think ayu pulls the song off well. I don't think it would suit anyone else.
I have a feeling if it had to be covered. someone like gackt could do it. turn it into a real rock song. change the lyrics and title around. and lower the pitch a bit. maybe. not sure. I can imagine him singing the chorus. but like i said change the lyrics around so its not a guy singing about how is name is "women".

if a girl had to cover it, maybe crystal kay with her light voice and make it jazz/r&b ish.
