^Sometimes its questionable, sometimes its just plain obvious. She basically copied Ayu's cover for Fly High for one of her covers and theres one music video that is almost exactly like Ayu's Hanabi ~Episode II~. Like I said, its okay to get inspired by Ayu but tastelfully do so and Jolin always denies it. Its one thing to do it, but don't deny it! At least they're music is quite different.

SOme are a stretch, others are plain obvious that she got the idea from Ayu. Like i said I don't care that she does, if anything thats what got me interested in Jolin in the first place. But stop denying it!!

just because people wear the same outfit doesn't mean you're copying someone.. lol. its not like ayu had hand sewn all her clothes or something.

it's the same as ayu copying madonna and beyonce, and jolin copying ayu.

Actually, that picture you're saying copied Fly high is NOT a CD cover, it's an insert picture in one of her CD booklets. And the one MV you're saying is almost exactly like HANABI ~episode II~ is really... not all that similar as far as I remember. Like, most of it is her in some random building or something, and then towards the end, there's really cheap looking fireworks... It's just one part though, not the whole MV. Then again, I really hate that song, so I've never watched the MV too closely.

Now, if you've seen Nakashima Mika's SEVEN MV, and then look at one of those MVs from... Dancing Diva album I THINK (or maybe J-game?), then it's a total, undeniable copy. XD

Ok, cd cover or not, it still is a blantant copy of ayu haha. And the MV is quite similar, cheaply done compared to ayus, but definitely a copy. And once again I will say I don't care that she does, I just don't like that she denies it.

nice scans.. I thought they will be putting more picts for comparison. oh well. Dun really like this thing abt Jolin copying here and there. although we are not v sure if she really went to 'copy' others or is just coincidence. (?_?)

Jolin never admitted she's a fan of Ayu or namie...even though she went to watch ayu's AT07 concert in Taipei (more like sneaked in secretly but got busted...lol) and Namie's BF concert.

Of course Jolin's not the only one ripping off someone else...Ayu did too...that's something that can't be denied...but the difference is Ayu actually adds her own style into it and not copy and paste. Also ayu is not afraid of openly admitting who her fav idols are...like Madonna...went to see her in concert openly, wearing a shirt with her face on it XD, playing her songs before her own concert starts, and mentioning her on tv during performance talk segment. We all know Madonna inspires Ayu.

Jolin on the other hand just keeps on denying. Just admitted the only thing she ever got 'inspired' was Madonna's yoga that she used for her J1 concert...and no one and nothing else. Going to ayu's concert, she sneaked in few minutes after the concert started and left few minutes before it ends. Why so sneaky? Its like she's too good to be known to like ayu or something. If that's the case, she should just stop ripping off ayu and find someone else.

About Jolin's butterfly album cover, Ayu's next level covers leaked few days before hers...so I don't think it was possible for Jolin to copy next level in such a short time. However her hairstyle on the cover and booklet is so Ayu from the MW period.

if she is indeed copying, i think it's too strange to copy one of your contemporaries. For example, Madonna is quite legendary, decades ahead in age, is from a faraway country, etc.

But I dunno about Jolin. I know she is good at dancing though.

^ Her dancing always looked really weird to me. Like... I dunno if I'd say it was BAD, it was just so strange looking to me. And in her older concerts, it was veryveryvery lazy...

Not trying to diss Jolin or anything...but to me her dancing is awkward and unnatural...I don't find it appealing or entertaining to watch...especially when she spreads her legs out in performances. She does try to learn new dances and stunts...and she works hard at them but still to think of her as a dancing queen is really stretching it for me. I much prefer watching koda and namie dance.

Why else would you go to someone concert if you're not a fan though? And yes, Jolin said she is a big fan of Namie and the reason that she became a singer is because of Namie. No lie. Many artists from Taiwan were inspired by Namie. She held huge popularity there and still does today.

i agree that she's a hardworking girl and improves alot...but i don't like her dancings..
like ayumiko said,she dance very unnaturally..its like she's force to dance and i hater her facial expression when she's dancing...its like ih-i'm-a-dancing-diva expression
