I thought it was this relaxing music, you know... new age.

Like ambient. I got one Ambient CD too, Brian Eno's Music For Airports. It really is relaxing!

It's an offshoot of the trance scene. Named after Goa, India. It may be interchangeable with psy trance, though don't quote me on that since I don't know much about that particular scene.

Me neither what's it like, I always had the idea it actually put you in a trance and the fact that they sold it in the biggest heavy metal mailorder in the Benelux confused me even more!
