yeah i overplayed it, and at first i was able to tune out the engrish then it started bugging me so i just don't listen to it anymore. Dr. is still pretty cool, it's one of her most unique songs imo.

I want to ask an honest question, but I'm slightly afraid it will turn into a fight x_x... So please let's be mature.

Not to compare any one artists to another, but do you think that in the age of acts like Beyonce and Gaga that Namie's dancing really good? I always defended Namie because she's one of the few who dances live and sings at the same time. But to me it seems like her dancing has become worse and worse as the years go on, both live and in PVs. Also, I have not seen the BEST FICTION tour yet! So if she's really amazing there, I'd like to know! Because honestly, her dancing has been lack luster for me. And age isn't really an excuse for me, Janet Jackson is still killing it. I'm just hoping that in her upbeat PVs that the dancing will be super amazing!

yeah you should watch BEST FICTION tour, her dancing was really good there except for a few songs where she got lazy. i think in her PV's her dancing looks just so.. lifeless, it's weird. but on tour she seems to be better.

Janet Jackson is also lip synching these days. Plus, I don't know about the majority of Lady Ga Gas performances, but I actually saw her live pre-fame when she opened for New Kids on the Block - I was very close to the stage and she was very obviously lip synching the whole set list. I'm not sure how she is now, but nothing that I've seen of her lives have been too impressive to me dancing wise.

But, as for Namie - I've mentioned this before too. Her dance ability has not gotten worse, but her choreography has. She switched choreographers in 2006 and ever since then it has not been as good. I felt, even when I saw it live, that the Best Fiction tour had good dancing, but wasn't like WOW level the majority of the time. I really really wish she would go back to her old choreographer.

GaGa doesn't lipsynch anymore, trust me.

I kinda like The Meaning of Us, it's very sincere and pretty, but it's not really catchy or something that demands multiple listenings to. Maybe it's the quailty (I hope)

I'm sorry, with the Janet Jackson thing, I didn't mean live... I meant in her PVs xD; Sorry! I'm a bit tired and maybe I wasn't clear. But for Gaga and Beyonce I meant live and for Janet Jackson I meant in music videos. But like I said, I'm not comparing anyone I'm just saying there seems to be people with far more superior ability than Namie and she doesn't really captivate me anymore. And maybe she switched for that very reason? Because she doesn't feel she can dance as well anymore? I mean if she has the ability why would she stick with someone who obviously doesn't help her deliver her best? Certainly she has to notice the decline of decent choreography if we do.

I don't know about Gaga's pre-fame stuff, but she never lip-synched any performance I watched, even if she uses a backtrack (Namie do that too). Still, yeah, her dancing is not amazing...

One thing that Janet is known for is lip-synching... and her live dancing isn't that good nowadays...

Beyonce almost never dances and sings at the same time... And when she does, she either uses a backtrack or a very easy coreography most of the time

The only singer i can think about that dance and sings live at the same time nowadays besides Namie is Madonna (her Sticky and Sweet Tour was entirelly live if i'm not wrong),

so... yeah, Namie get points on being able to sing and dance at the same time (even if IMO neither her dancing or her singing are impressive, even if both are good)
