Anyone Likes or Know May'n Here?

I <3 May'n. I used to hate her until someone convinced me to watch Macross Frontier. However, I do think that she needs to continue having songs composed by Yoko Kanno & Shiro Sagisu---their work with her is amazin'.

i think it's more common to find an May'n fan around the anime group, due to MF. There are a lo of people in Singapore who likes her, i see those japan version cds in hmv gets sold out real fast. They don't have her May'n Space now.

even during last month ILOVANISONG concert, 99% went there to see May'n and the queue for public to go in for free is crazy.

^At least you have a chance of that happening. T_T Here in the US I don't think we will ever get another Macross series ever because of some legal dispute.

^ Yeah, Harmony Gold owns the rights for the US and they refuse to give it up. They refuse to release the rest of the Macross series because they'd have to get the rights to all the music, which they aren't willing to do because they don't think that it will sell here.

There are several Macross series, kinda like how there are several Gundam series. The first Macross was made in 1982. It was brought over to the United States by Harmony Gold, but it was retooled and stuck together with two other unrelated anime series to form Robotech.

Macross Frontier is the latest of the Macross series, and has two movies. One movie was just released, and the other is planned. The movies are a retelling of the Macross Frontier TV series. Sheryl, the character that May'n sings for, is only in the Macross Frontier series and movies.

if you like to listen to catchy pop songs, May'n is your type of music, her songs are pretty mainstream

I listened to her "Lion" from Macross Frontier, she does have a nice voice ^^

Now I'm kinda too lazy to check the rest of her songs... ^^;; (I do want to listen to her May'n☆Street album someday... XD)
