I don't really get fuss about not having huge props. I remember back in the day when people complained she was doing much in her tours, now we're complaining she's doing too little?

Anyway for me, no huge props = more focus on Ayu. It's her show after all, not the props'.

I don't mind that there are no props, just that this show doesn't seem to be a huge improvement over AT09. Instead of a flying chair, there's a glass now. Yet AT09 was a disaster, and this show is the greatest thing ever. I don't get it. It has a better setlist, yes. And better costumes, yes. What else?

as nanakopy said, better vocals. and the screens! THE SCREENS!!! That was what nailed the concert for me. The screens were so well-done and beautiful and fitted to the entire concert, all the animations and movies were really well-made, and the entire concert felt like a really big, grand, real show. I don't know how to emphasize this more lol! Guess you have to judge for yourself when the TV broadcast comes. ^^

ps: Oh man, it's so weird seeing myself on youtube.

For now. We all know Ayu's vocals fluctuate. She's done better now than the first 2 shows last year. That's hardly a comparison for the success of a whole tour. I don't remember seeing many complaints about AT09 after the first couple of shows. It was the show itself people weren't impressed with by the looks of things.

And most western Ayu fans who went last year were praising the show then as well. Its the japanese regulars to her show that weren't impressed last year, and I'd love to know what they are thinking this time around.

Well, at least even I am saying that I think its her best tour since Miss Understood and maybe even My Story (both of which I also saw live as well). I understand though that it may sound weird to say that though when visually (at least from the pics available) it doesn't look much different from the past couple of tours. But it was more the overall factor that made it great, rather than individual parts. It was just a very cohesive show that worked its themes very well. On the vocal area, yeah it fluctuates and it really comes down to personal opinion because I didn't think they were OMG great or anything but at least they were a bit better than CDL.

I do not get what you mean/think So you are saying that this concert tour might not be as good as people think? hmm... I think now (the beginning) is when you can tell. If you (generally speaking) expect Ayu's vocals to get better or be the same after singing almost every night? for even a month, that is difficult If she does well in the first 2 concerts or this first week of concerts, then for me she has done great ^^ I actually wish she would do less concerts (I know this is how she gains more money, but still...her health :S)

Anyhow, ^^ just a thoght.

EDIT: SO lol I misunderstood your post too, I guess. My bad D:
But it was a general comment

I am sorry if I already answered to this But... lol your english does not sucks! you can communicate and that is all that you need. Also it is not the fist time I misunderstand something (and THAT is because MY english DOES suck!.) Your position is just perfect too

@ Picaflor 7/4: I also did not get this "curse" thing the first time lol but yes, I think that is what th means. Maybe there are some songs that if get to be sung in a CDL they will not appear again in any other concert (or at least for some time.) Still I do not understand very much >_< How do you know which would it be?

Agh~ I should have just said that I second Picaflor 7/4's questions

And more chance for them to ship the tour to other countries *coughsgcough* since smaller places cant accomodate any large props

No no, its not that I won't like the show. I'm just confused about the hate for AT09 but the love for this show, when on scale they are roughly the same sorta thing.

I actually thought AT 09 was a pretty good show too. I think what pleased the people who went for AT 10 (as in those who raved it and wrote reviews) were that her vocals were decent, the costumes were much better and the setlist rocked, lol.

Its the japanese reviews that are more cruel and harsh than the western AHS members who go to Japan who are more likely to love everything and anything she will do.

And I agree, a smaller production should have more chance of going overseas. No Asia tour for 2 years now, and it doesn't look like she's going to do one this year either.

well, i was disappointed that ayu claimed to have the BEST CONCERT ever.. and yet showed so little costumes and props.

But since those who went for the concert said that the SHOW element was there. i guess i just have to accept it. After all, the main setlist is longer than AT09. and luckily, i can sing most of the songs.

So when i go to the Yokohama concert, i can get high!!!!!

I'd much rather they focus on technology than old fashioned Broadway-like props.
Seems like they spent a lot of money on the new mobile LED system.

Quote:
ライブ演出では初めて可動式のLED装置を導入し、新体操とアクロバットチームなどによるサーカスを表現し たステージングを総スタッフ約170名で挑む。
This excerpt from a news article mentions how it's the first time she's used it and how the staff is 170 members strong. I'm excited to see it on DVD, haha.

It's the other way around, I think... a lot of the Japanese people that saw this and NEXT LEVEL seemed to think "Oh wow! Kawaii! Ayu sugoi!" but just more "Oh, you're so cool, Ayu-chan!" this time than last time, haha.

(Of course, there were people who didn't like AT09, but there were also a lot of people that did, I think...)
