also.. @ 2008. IMO she was done dirty with the whole deal and her comment wasn't bad, but it's obvious she's truly sorry about it.

I'm glad, too, but since it's a hall tour and not a big stadium tour I'm not so excited this year and since the earthquake I think it needs time to do powerful music that really is sexy or something like that and so I think Ayu's POWER of MUSIC is a nice idea....

Yeah, you know...just no Ayu is a totally different artist. She made the decision based on what she thought was right, and no matter what fans want, it's about what she thinks will give the right show and what will inspire her to do the best for her fans. Koda Kumi is the same. No need to compare the different paths they walk to get to the same stage.

been watching with mine since Second Session! My mum isn't as big a fan as yours seems to be though ;( but she still likes watching her live performances. I tried getting her to watch some Ayu and Miliyah performances but she didn't like either :|

& I agree I really want to tell her ;_; she's been my role model for years <3

Kuu has given me so much strength lately. I'm really been feeling down for months and now I feel I can make it because I see how amazing Kuu is (and I turn into a crazy fan mode every time I realize that) and I want someday to be like she is. She's my role model, definitely. ^_^

And I haven't ever watched any Kuu concerts with my mom. I bet she wouldn't even stand them. Probably Billboard Live is the only one she would like. :'D Oh well.

I LOVE these insights we get into her thoughts about her own career. She always seems so confident and professional, I kind of couldn't believe what I read when there was the sentence "The only years I can call good years are 2006 and 2007" (not the correct words, I know, but can't remember right now). She really is an awesome performer. I have to say, when I look at her covers of 2009, I don't see a scared Koda Kumi.
But I noticed that many people who are her fans for a longer time than I am said that her 2009 works weren't as good as her older ones, too.

^I gotta agree about 2009 work. I remember that only single that I really found myself overplaying was Alive/Physical thing. Of course, 3 SPLASH and It's all Love! were good, but I think it wasn't that amazing year for Kuu musically. Of course her 2010 work has blown me away again, so I guess she was a bit "lost" like she said she was in 2009 and again in 2010 she found her passion/herself again or something. <3
