him and ohno are just so cute together.  and LOL at the "A.RA.SHI" outfit cosplay! only JE could come up with an outfit like that.  thankfully arashi won't have to wear that anymore, haha.

New drama for Ohno with Sato Ryuta
 Ohno will be playing a main character in a drama called something like “I won’t kidnap ever again” which is to be aired next year in January. Apparently he will play a freeter named Syoutaro who has always dreamt of being a hero. He gets asked by a guy to fake a kidnapping. His character is upbeat but a bit loose, a kind of guy everyone would identify with and cheer for. The production said that Ohno would be the only one who is capable of playing the part. omg that was unexpected! now there's 2 arashi dramas airing in the same season again. i wonder which drama they'll sing for? matsujun or ohno's?
 but it's great news for ohno, anyway. i'm so glad that arashi's getting some new drama work.

NTV Best Artist 2011′s first lineup announcement
 NTV has announced the first portion of its lineup for the annual music show NTV Best Artist. It was also revealed that Arashi’s Sakurai Sho will be the general host for the third year in a row, with the help of co-hosts Hatori Shinichi and Suzue Nana. On November 17th, Arashi broadcasted their new CMs for Nintendo’s “Mario Kart 7”! This popular racing game will be available on December 1st in Japan and 4th in the U.S. for the Nintendo 3DS.
In these endorsement videos, the members of Arashi talks about various aspects of the game while playing it themselves. Arashi fans will definitely want to check out these hilarious CMs, and even go back to an earlier post with Ninomiya Kazunari cosplaying as Super Mario for ‘SUPER MARIO 3D LAND‘. The 4 CMs Hmmm is it a good or bad thing Nino is the only 1 cosplaying as Mario in all 4 CM's ? 8D

Inoue Mao and Arashi draw a big crowd
Requests to be in the audience for the 62nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen reached a record 1,264,923 requests, it was revealed on November 18. The new record is an increase of 500 000 or 1.7 times from the previous record of 759,722 requests held in 2004. Requests were accepted by postcard from October 7-27. 1234 winning requests were chosen (Two people per request were allowed), making odds 1 in 1025 of being chosen. The timing of the announcement of the MCs was likely behind the phenomenal record. In previous years, the announcement was made in early November - after the deadline for audience requests. This year, however, the announcement of Inoue Mao and Arashi as hosts was made on October 19, during the recruitment period. Popular group Arashi's concert tickets are hard to come by. Inoue focuses on her acting and is rarely seen on stage.
