first i didn't curr 'bout this single, BUT after some repeats, the wonderful PV preview and Ai wo Tomato in full i love this ballad!

ALSO, to people who are interested, there's a french Kumi fansite called: http://kumiloves.free.fr that has all sort of kumi stuff such as a gallery that has every picture of kuu in HQ under the sun (You have to be a member to view the gallery but it only takes 2 seconds and is very worth it!) and they also have all of her lives since like, 2003/04. 　昨年の秋に放送され、社会現象を巻き起こしたNHKドラマ『セカンドバージン』。17歳差カップルのスキ ャンダラスな不倫愛が話題となったドラマとならび、ドラマの為に書き下ろされた主題歌「あなただけが」が多 くの女性の共感を呼んだことは、記憶に新しい。そして、ドラマの映画化にあたり、引き続き、倖田來未が主題 歌を手がけることになった。

「ドラマがとても面白かったので、映画でも主題歌を担当させていただけることがすごく嬉しくて。最初に脚本 を読ませていただいたときに、私、泣いちゃったんです。出来上がった映画やドラマを観て泣くことは多かった んですけど、脚本だけで涙が出たのは今回初めてだったったんですね。そのくらい、胸にグッと突き刺さる内容 だったので、歌詞は悩みに悩みましたね」

　 映画版では、マレーシアの首都クアランプールを舞台に、ドラマでは描かれなかった最後の3日間に焦点が当て られている。「愛しくてたまらない、だけど許されぬ恋。そのはがゆさやせつなさ」を込めたという歌詞は、「 ツアー先の沖縄で、マレーシアの海を想像しながら書いた」と言う。

「今回は、本当にるいさんの気持ちになって書いたんですね。私自身は、好きな人には自分の弱い部分もすべて さらけだして、『これが私です』って表現したいタイプなんですけど、鈴木京香さん演じる"るい"さんは、仕 事でもプライベートでも決して弱い部分を一切見せずに生きてきた。そんなるいさんが、行さん（長谷川博己） と出会って、初めて素の自分をさらけだせるようになった。それでも、年下だからと気を遣って、隠し持ってい た辛い気持ちがたくさんあったと思うんです。＜あなたが思うほど／強くないってこと／心にしまって＞という フレーズでは、るいさんの心情が少しは描けたんじゃないかなって思いますね。」

　 映画の世界観と寄り添ったエモーショナルなラブバラードには、主人公の本音を代弁するタイトルがつけられて いる。

「行さんはるいさんのことを思いやっているからこそ、なにも言わずに姿を消して、クアランプールで再会して も知らないフリをするんですね。それは、男の人が考える男らしさや、勝手な優しさだと思うんです。私なら、 絶対に甘えて欲しいですし、私のために嘘をつかなくていいよ。って思う。いいところも悪いところも含めて、 あなたのことが好きなんだから、自分から愛を止めないで欲しいなって。行さんは自分から好きだっていう気持 ちを食い止めている感があったので、年上の女性からの視点としても、それは違うでしょっていう否定のタイト ルにしたかったんです」

　 もともとは不倫に対して否定的な意見の彼女だったが、不倫愛を貫き通した本作と深く関わったことで、その考 えは少し変わってきたそう。

「私は不倫に関しては決して賛成派ではなかったんですけど、このドラマにはすごく共感できたんですね。この ふたりは、出会うタイミングが遅かっただけで、不倫というよりもとてもピュアな純愛に見えたんです。君が一 番なんだ、君しかいないんだ、君が僕のことを変えてくれたっていう行さんの想いはすごく純粋だと思います。 嫁は嫁で、君は君っていう部分恋愛は認められないですけど（笑）、純粋に愛し合う不倫はありなのかなってい う気がするんですね。今回はいままでにないくらい映画に寄った曲になっていますし、とにかく愛情を込めて作 ったので、ぜひ映画館で観て、聴いて欲しいなと思いますね」

　 また、カップリングには震災復興のためのチャリティーソングとして配信され、現在も開催中のツアーのアンコ ールで初日から歌い、会場中の大合唱を巻き起こしている「You are not alone」が収録されている。

「再来週からツアーがはじまりますっていう時期に大震災が起こって。被災地でボランティア活動をしている方 々のニュース映像を見て、とても大きな愛を感じたし、人はひとりじゃないんだなってことを改めて感じたんで す。アーティスト倖田來未として、曲を書き、歌を歌うことだなって思ったので、その心境を一気に書き上げた 曲なんです。この歌で人を救おうなんて大きなことは言えないけれど、ひとりでもいい、この曲を聴いて明日か らまた頑張ろうって思えたり、辛い時に心の支えになって貰えるなら、この曲を作った意味がある と思います」

　 ツアーで演奏しているバージョンとは違う、倖田來未らしいハッピーなバイブレーションを感じるオリジナルバ ーションが収録された本作は、8月にリリースされたばかりのシングル「4 TIMES」から2ケ月連続リリースとなる51枚目のシングルとなっている。

「50枚目のシングルにはバラードが入っていない、いわゆる"ザ・倖田來未"っていうシングルだったとした ら、今作は「愛のうた」、「好きで、好きで、好きで。」に続く、倖田來未らしいバラードシングルかなって思 いますね。今回はジャケやMVを含めて、また一歩大人になった倖田來未を感じて頂けると嬉しい ですね」

★早くも前作を超えた!?　狂おしくも切ない、官能的な映像が完成!!

「楽曲と同様に、ミュージックビデオも『セカンドバージン』とすごく近づけた映像にしたかったんです。だか ら、MVもマレーシアを舞台にした不倫がテーマになっていて。裸の男性の体にキスをするシーンもありますし 、私自身も上半身は裸で撮影をしたので、いまでにないくらい大胆に思い切って演じた作品になっています。撮 影の際は大好きな彼と抱き合っているのに切ない表情というのを意識しました。彼は結婚指輪をつけたままだし 、自分のモノだけど自分のモノじゃない。そんな心情が出たらいいなと思って。前作の『KO-SO-KO-SO』でも大胆に演じていますが、今作はまた違った意味で大胆に心の叫びを表現できたんじゃないかと思って います。
監督に女性らしい体のラインもきれいに撮っていただいたので、今迄の作品にはない、新しいMVになったんじ ゃないかなって思いますね」
