You are not alone ^^ I find arrangements very cheap ! the clap clap clap thing is very repetitive and annoying lol it's just an Ok song for me nothing very amazing.

Yeah, but in Rock U it actually made lots of sense, but in this song it just sounds very out of place.

On another note, I agree the song sounds a bit too repetitive and might get boring after a few listens.

I only have to hear the chorus once from "Big Boys Cry" and it's stuck in my head for the rest of the day. I reeeaaallly like it. I'll try not to overplay it before buying the CD.

Well, I was REALLY afraid of how the full song would turn out from the preview which I found kinda blah... But gosh I think I really like the full song ! I don't even know why. It's way too repetitive and monotonous and I should find it boring as hell.. but I don't know, I guess it's too hot for me to hate

this. maybe it's SHAKE? we know how good namie is with english lol

and um i actually think Damage IS the REAL thing, would love her to do more songs like that!

No she definitely says s**t in the checkmate lyric booklet it shows it and she say "get the ****** out" lol I'm so glad I bought my copy of the tour would have preferred the version with the live CDs but that would have broke my pocket just glad I got first press before it was sold out!

I think this person meant "maybe she says shake" in Big Boys Cry, not Rock U. We all know that in Rock U she says what she does, no one is questioning that.

explained. I'll just add that it wouldn't make sense in BBC like random "sentence"...so maybe it is just a bad pronounciation

I see engrish lyrics that dont make sense often in jpop though... Think its cuz they dont fully understand the language though.
However, Namie does have a lot of bad pronunciation I'll admit. When QoHP first came out I thought for the longest time she was saying "this guy's screwed". then i looked it up & shes really saying "the sky's blue" on Ups & Downs. Plus i always thought she said "How about some sweet b|tch" on Queen of Hip-Pop.
