Katy Perry's 'PRISM' 10-22-2013 —The 3rd Thread—

Teenager Dream for me was the epitome of the pop-album: a little bit of a lot of styles, but filtered with a pop-lense. That's why it sounds so cohesive, it's all poppy, even with songs born by different styles like E.T., Katy managed to make them classic pop music. It's the most classic pop album that comes to my mind.
PRISM is totally different. It's sixteen songs basically talking about the same thing, ideals and "revelations", and I like it. I actually find it very light to listen to. All songs have the same approach, but it's such a gentle style they're not invasive.

the single was officially released today (April 16) and will be sent by Capitol to mainstream and rhythmic radios on April 21, so it will increase a lot during the next two weeks

Katy did right when she picked Birthday instead of Legendary Lovers, the second deserves a great moment to be released like between her PRISMATIC Tour USA dates during the summer
