New single 'Feel the love / Merry-go-round' out 12/25 [II]

so this is the single Shirayukihime that will compete the #2 position with ayu.. i can say it is a good song, reminds me of kana nishino ballads, the PV has already passed over 700k views.

It is a tie-in for the drama Bokura wa Minna Shindeiru.



single's b-side is Hatsukoi.

I think it'll be hard for the single to take # 1 position, but it's gonna do well anyway. There's not drama attached to it (apart on AHS for Feel the love PV, but I haven't heard anything from Japan yet) and on Youtube the views weren't bad at all.

Well, maybe it's just me, but once it's not # 1, it doesn't really matter if it's # 2 or 3. XD Once it's not # 1, I start thinking about top 10 or not top 10.

The FLOWER song is actually pretty nice. The PV too, until they start "dancing". Though the generic beats kind of kill it for me. Might give them a try.

And in my opinion Flower is ahead on the competition. The song is great, a typical winter/christmas tune that doesn't sound generic at all, and it's the theme song of a drama.

Did Flower get a sudden boost of success with their last single? It seems like they sold pretty badly until that single...

That's exactly what I was thinking, I went to check their sale numbers and they're not high at all, but I don't know the numbers for their last single either...

I've checked that before too, their popularity increased a lot... Judging by the views on Shiroyukihime PV , the tie-in, the song itself being a winter ballad and the fact that Flower is a girlgroup, it has a great chance to get the #2 position.

I think Ayu will grab #2 with 55-60k. The set of 3 MUSIC CARDS is selling very well on Mu-Mo. With Ayu having so many devoted TeamAyu members buying 3-5 copies each anything between 50-80k wouldn't surprise me first week.

We don't know if Oricon will count the MUSIC CARD sales since they didn't list them on the item page. And yeah, there's also Yuzu with the Hunter X Hunter theme. Well, the competition for the #2 and #3 place will be rough.

It's strange because they list the versions they count. They listed all three MUSIC CARDS of G-Dragons Japanese album and they are counting its sales. But they didn't list neither TA limited ver nor the MUSIC CARDS.
