Yeah, I prefer too her past urban influenced songs, even if I don't find the actual ones so badly done. But she just had this way of killing that style at that time.
Her cute songs, instead, are ALWAYS a hit or miss for me. She either can be irresistibly cute or a grown woman that sounds like she's parroting a highschool girl.
But I don't have preferences for her styles... I think she's a lot like Ayu, she can jump from and to every kind of song. It depends on the song, not the genre.
This!

^ Does it have the RYTHMZONE logo on it ? The serial number's beginning with RZ-.... ?
No random songs ?
If you can answer YES to those questions, it's a legit copy

^ yes, it has the rithmzone logo and everything, I checked that before... My question is regarding the slipcase because I don't remember this album having a slipcase. The CD under it I know it's a legit copy... This slipcase kind of feels misplaced, because the CD case comes with the normal obi for it and everything, but you can't possibly put the CD case with the obi inside the slipcase, it doesn't fit, it's so weird lol (and I'm completely sure the obi isn't supposed to be put on top of the slipcase, it's definitely made for the case under it)

The slip case was a TSUTAYA or Tower Records exclusive I believe

if my prayers come true, Kuu will sell her soul to ~ghetto groves~ and great a renaissance of Urban music like Namie did after her TK days

Urban Namie is so iconic *~*

My problem is that Ku's former "urban" style is much more enjoyable than her recent trend. Tracks like SHAKE IT, Get It On, even Hot Stuff... those are great Kumi tracks. Or when she would mix her urban with a bit of dance such as Get Up & Move!! or Love goes like... - this recent shit has no appeal, especially in the long haul.

i completely agree! there's a different thing going on in her 'urban' tracks the last few cycles, and it leaves them flat. i find them harder to get in to, and easier to forget. she doesn't need to bring back a previous style, but i'd still love to see her give longer lasting material again.

^ Envying you so much

There are some fanpages at facebook saying they're gonna record the Bon Voyage DVD concert this weekend and release it during Fall. Guess that if that's true, she'll probably add new songs to the setlist? She always include summer song tracks on her tours after some dates

I just Kuu had written the lyrics for On Your Side. I hate it when songs I love from her weren't written by her.

I always thought On Your Side was one of the fan favorites from Bon Voyage other than the intro/interlude A lot of people thought the best part of the album was from Dreaming On! onwards iirc.

^ I'm not 100% sure about it, but I watched the making of a while ago and I believe it was shot in Thailand

Her urban songs were the best but her dance songs are killer too. I mean TABOO, ECSTASY, Driving, UNIVERSE, POP DIVA, Lay Down etc are all amazing.

I prefer them tbh because I feel like they have her best mixture of sounds, to where they don't just sound like songs you can throw at anyone.

Like LOL. Who else can do that song and still have it be as fun.

I do feel like she has less of these songs lately. I don't mind as much though. As long as I have one song from an album I really like, I'm just fine. I was never a huge fan of her albums from start to finish, track after track.

For Japonesque I feel like she spread herself the thinnest though, doing like every genre on one album, but for Bon Voyage she condensed it back down to songs that are similar.
