I remember them but it seems they were all taken down. She's so big now, lol. All that's available is like, her Gaga and Beyonce stuff.

Someone pointed out on FB the similarities between the Clash of Queens promo pics, and other "royal" photoshoots by Amuro and Kumi :


Wouldn't it be good to have a REAL CLASH OF J-POP QUEENS ??
Or not necessarily a "clash", but something, a collab or anything!... I'm convinced it would slay all those little children/idols bands....

Reminds me of this Tu-Ka ad as well.



I was rewatching some 2002 lives and I remembered that Ayu used to have a lookalike girl with her during the rehearsals/ending. I wonder what's the reason and who's she.

From ARENA TOUR 2002.
During rehearsal, she wouldn't be able to see how the performances would look like so she's got a body double. That and also she used body doubles in her actual performances too. Like opening Run @ AT02, AUDIENCE @ DT01, kiss o' kill @ AT07 etc.

She still has one but it's not the usual girl.

Typically she is used so that Ayu can see how staging is without being on stage.

She still uses a body double, but I don't think it's the same person that she used up until like 2007 or 2008. Seems the last time she was seen was before or during CDL07-08.

Takami 'Poroko' Desaki was the one I recall but I do not know who has been doing it lately.
