It's probably real, but again, I'll keep that in mind with a grain of salt until I hear something from the official source.

Anyhow, it's a cover. Seriously, not the end of the world. One person may think it's utter crap, another might think it's a masterpiece. But at the end it's the music.

And to be honest, the only cover with truly a theme is I am..., and that's (according to interview), to the sudden shock of 9/11 and she wanted to make a statement. It was a different time. I heard rumors that originally the cover of Dearest or something similar along the line was going to be the cover for I am...and dearest cover, when not connected to dearest's PV, doesn't exactly hold that great substance by itself either.

Insult the concept, not the person. I may not like Koda Kumi's current music as much, but I'm not saying that she's slacking off or anything. Same goes for other musicians.

^it's the root of every wankwar online. I guess the truth is, it's hard to see a person behind a CD, or when you're talking to someone online, so I guess we tend to be more careless with words.

That's the difference between bashing and constructive criticism IMO. Unless you knew them personally, because maybe Ayu has been slacking off and not giving a ****, or she could be working her arse off, but the truth is, we don't know, so we can't say anything.

Get over it. I don't think the covers are her best either but if the music is good enough I'll still buy the album. Being so pissy and saying you might spend a ****ing dollar to buy a blank CD and illegally download it obviously shows you don't seem to support her too much. I'm sorry, but the dollar store and your lack of support bothered me, not at all the fact you dislike the covers.

Anyways, I wasn't a huge fan when I first viewed them, but I realized that it could be so much worse. Just look at ASfXX and (m)u's covers, they're 100X worse. And just think, it could have been Britney's Blackout cover. Lets be glad it isn't (even close to being) that bad.

I'm a bit disappointed with the CD+DVD (usually that one gets the better cover), but in the end I care more about having the songs and PV's than I do about the cover. After all, I can't say I like the covers for m(u) and LOVEppears, but those are still excellent albums.

while I really don't think she'd very honestly have these as covers (though I must say I do love the supposed cd + dvd picture...) they very honestly are not the WORST covers the girl has ever done..

hmm.. not particularly WOWed by the covers. but they are pretty good!! i dont understand why for CD+DVD covers, they choose to use a close up pic of ayu and then for the CD only version they used a pic with the whole body of ayu..

hmm.. i think this is true considering that the whatever magazine published photos of them taking the album covers..

I like them..not love but i like the way the CD cover was shot...the colours and everything...the CD+DVD cover aint very appealing...but i still pre-ordered that...

i think there is a reason for this cover. Duty was her best selling album wasnt it? I think its just that her anniversary, she wants to show the "remember this?" kinda feel and the nostalgic feeling...she also started with short hair remember..and Together When... has that YOU hairstyle which was whoa 1998?

and now, she is in a DESERT instead of being in a CAGE...
DESERT is a place without boundaries...always changing...get it?
She has MOVED OUT AND MOVED ON...
its just my way for analysing the picture...thats what i can make out...

and those who hate it...ok done...there is no need to go on and on about it....i didnt like (m)u's covers as much but i totally LOVE that album...and s1012h is really making a lot of sense here to those who bash it and ayu...sheesh...its pointless

I dun really agree about the "remember this" concept, but I support your CAGE to DESERT thought. It sounds interesting.
(And I dun think it really resembles kuu's MAROC pose... I just having a feeling that, the way she poses is quite powerful in a sense. Dunno what's behind it, but it is just powerful).

^ Yah! I don't know what people are making a fuss out of. It's fantastic, and it looks really great! I'm SO GLAD she's using outdoor shots! I mean, her past few albums and even singles have all been studio, so seeing her with some landscape and REALLY NICE CLOTHING is WHOA!

I think I might get both the CD and CD+DVD versions, because I really really just love the CD cover version!

[EDIT] Oh, and I LOVE the title of (don't) Leave me alone, because most often when people ask others to leave them alone, deep inside, they're really wanting them to comfort them. It's just about pretence and putting on a false front, although you're really needing the comfort. So yup, one of the more insightful Ayu song titles!
