Just joking. I've decided I'm going to Japan one day and I'm definitely going to see Namie, Kuu or Ayu concert. *___* I think I'm gonna cry when that comes true. :'D

There is one thing that really annoys me about Namie. Sometimes she just can't hold her mic properly @_@ During the PLAY tour, at the end of CAN YOU CELEBRATE? she was approximating it to her mouth and then moving it away, which of course caused her voice sounding terrible.
I was like: "What the hell are you doing?! Stop ruining the end of this beautiful song!!! T.T"

Actually that is a technique that pro singers use. You move the mic away from your mouth in certain notes so as not to blow out the eardrums of the audience. (seriously, Ayu should learn how to do this) Unfortunately sometimes Namie pulls it too far away though and it makes her voice barely audible on some notes.

Really? I didn't know that, but it's still VERY ANNOYING. If I were there, I'd jump out of audience on her LOL Sing it to the end, don't cut it like that! I dunno, maybe that's just me

Yeah, look at the old Mariah Carey videos and you'll find that she can sing with the mic away while still holding a powerful and sustained tone. Unfortunately, Namie's voice is not strong enough to hold it that far... and I also found Can You Celebrate to be ruined by it in her Play tour. Other than that, the concert was great!

IMO, ayuz voice is not as namie's. I think namie needs to manage this technique a bit more bcuz it looks like she's pullin the mic away randomly..at times this actually messes her performance up. I don't think she needs 2 do this as often and actually bend over like she's bowing constantly

..yeah, she did do it a little too often, and it bugged me a bit.

I actually also noticed that in the concert, don't remember which song she sang at that time but I noticed that. it wasn't so annoying for me but still it was somehow not correct...other than that (and the do me more performance where she didn't sound good as much as she sounded in the whole concert, even though it was the opening song of the tour) it was GREAT!!

I thought Ayu does do that? But yeah, I notice a lot of singers do that for high ranged or long notes.
