^yeah, i know what you mean. I was quite disapointed in how BoA did last time. Also, I know its a little off-topic, buti didn't think it was a good idea for WG to release Korean versions of their songs on itunes here.... but heck, they did it. I hate to say it, but awhile back I even saw a very VERY talented young asian woman on American Idol. She was mostly raised here too and yet she got voted off for some young boy who just came off to me as another one of those "boyband" type of kids if you know what I mean. I'm not trying to be cruel or anything, but sometimes I get the feeling like America's trying to keep the Asians out of the major music entertainment industry.

I don't know if this has ever been brought up before, but I just found out, so ... Is it just me, or it BoA's Kimi no Tonari de from OUTGROW pretty similar to Kanade from Sukima Switch? Especially the chorus o.O

^That might not be intentional at all. There's a song by Crystal Kay that sounds like Kumi's Moon Crying as well, but I doubt that happened on purpose. Btw, who's Sukima Switch? Never heard of them before.

I never intended to say it was intentional or anything. I just thought it was funny how similar they were. I heared the opening chorus for Kimi no Tonari de for the first time and I thought to myself "Did BoA ever cover a song by a different artist?".

Of course it can happen ^^

Sukima Switch is a Pop/Jazz/Fusion/Whatever band. Been around for quite some time. Kanade is their biggest hit -and a huge one at that-.

Not that i dont like her english songs, cause i really do. Just i was wondering why she keeps doing them so much lately... Is it to keep in practice of using her english so it'll help her improve or something? Also, the performances were cool. Just the person with the camera needs to hold it still better.

I think she just wants to push the fact that this is the "World Expo" and she's trying to be a "World" star. I dunno. I think she needs to give up the English thing. Its failing dismally. Asia still wants her....and with her Kpop return....she has a perfect chance of sparking interest again.

^I'm not sure what to say about the English thing. I have now begun hearing some of her English songs being played in the malls and stores. I honestly think to be honest, maybe she does just need better publicity. I guess we'll see. I have also heard some people(even who aren't asian) talking about her english CDs, so we'll see what happens.

It's one thing I'm wondering about badly...
One korean music show is already confirmed - Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook on 10th August. It's impossible to release new album before this or around this day, so... What songs is she supposed to perform? English songs again? I'd love to watch her singing old korean songs... It would work, it would be kind of promotion and reminding herself for netizens to prepare for her comeback.

^ I don't think she's gonna sing something which was promoted in movie, the same thing with korean artists who aren't able to perform songs from commercials... Unfortunately. Mist is one of her best korean songs <3
