I liked Uncontrolled just fine, problem is: usually her albums, for me, are at great levels, an unique and incisive style with a lot of character, while I found half of Uncontrolled just nice, but nothing more or particularly remarcable.
It wasn't a bad album, but, since Namie used to release albums more slowly than other japanese singers, I was a little bit disappointed after waiting, 'cause I'm used to perfection.

Uncontrolled feel more like a best of album for me than original (with all those single tracks), but I still LOVE that album to death.

Just yesterday I listened to the SPEED STAR and Queen of Hip-Pop (album) and I miss the Hip-Pop/R&B Namie. (I hope there's a song similar to WANT ME, WANT ME on FEEL )

This. Even with Past << Future, Play, QoHP, etc, I always skipped straight to the dance songs/more electronica-sounding songs than the R&B ones.

The R&Bs were nice for background music while studying, but if I want R&B I'll go to early-Utada or someone else.

I dunno, I love when Namie declares she wants a lot of dance tunes because I have a low tolerance for R&B, ballads, and rap lol.

I'm not cutting out all ballads in that, just boring ones.

Anywho.....I need the rest of Alive and the rest of Feel STAT.

I first heard "Four Seasons" a few years ago, then when PLAY came out I gave it a listen and I loved it. The next year I went to Japan and BEST FICTION had just been released and was playing everywhere, so I bought a copy it just cemented my love for Namie.
