Okay, managed to listen to it, and I LOVE the song! Sounds so fresh, and I love the guitar! It's the usual lifting-up mid-tempo her summer singles have, and whether it'll be on a single or album I can't wait for the full thing
 Plus, happy they managed to reschedule the first two dates (and keep 59 dates hahahaha) |

Yeah, I'm not super feeling Promise You, but I can see why people would like it for the summer. I haven't been feeling Kuu's ballads much lately, save for Walk of My Life.

Promise you sounds a bit generic but too early to judge.
She hasn't really wowed me in the ballad department in a while. *btw I don't always hate generic. Stay with me is one of my favorite songs from her, but it seems to not be so popular haha

^ I also love stay with me, it is truly underrated (even by Kuu herself, it seems, from how she never performed it again...), it outstands for me cause her vocals are much stronger in the song than in her usual ballads, where she goes for higher pitches. Plus the instrumental is great!

I always forget that song exists, not gonna lie. Personally, I love Feel My Mind, it's my favorite album from her, and one of the reasons why is that I feel like the ballads are really strong. They are the standard to which I compare.

Promise you is a ballad for you guys?
I'd call it a midtempo pop song, just like IN THE AIR and Always, like a mix of it. That's also the style of earlier songs it reminds me of. Have to say it has a pretty strong melody, especiall the part before the chorus. The chorus is a bit generic, but because of the great pre-chorus, I'm looking forward to the song! And I can imagine it being on a summer single, seems fitting (but I still want a summer album instead, greedy me). Also it will only performed at the current tour, if it's coming out on a single, because of the tour theme. Btw. I'm one of those not liking stay with me, like at all. Don't know, it's so boring musically. And I'm obsessed with the whole The Artist show to be honest.

Does anyone here have a list of the songs Kuu performed at Let's Party Vol. 1 and made it to the DVD? I am trying to make a list of all songs she performed live but couldn't find info about it, I just recall Aisho and Ningyo hime were in the DVD...

Promise you snippet sounds really to me. Hoping it's even better in full, not a big fan of Shhh! But I did appreciate the single reminding how amazing Kimi Omni is. I smell a new album... There's Cupcake, Shhh! and now Promise you. Hmm...
Am I the only one obsessed with the Cupcake / TOUCH DOWN section of THE ARTIST? I've had it on repeat for the past few days. |

^ I agree. I also find it a little hard to consider Promise you a "traditional" Kumi ballad. When I've read the announcement I had no expectations whatsoever, but the song is cute and not overly dramatic like many of her past ballads. I feel a positive energy listening to it.

A newly done account on Instagram posted these pics of a 60th single and a new album:   The Shhh! previews were also up on a newly created Instagram account and was deleted just shortly after again... Monarda is the name of a flower. Spoiler:

Poltergeist for a song title ?
 Some of the song titles on the rumoured tracklists are quite something but I can't imagine how Poltergeist will turn out to be , if it's really true o_O Then again some of the titles in WOML were weird but turn out good I do wonder how those users were able to get hold of supposedly legit information on things like this and if they said it comes from the fanclub , does this mean it's official ?
