^ I think it is rather nice, but not really as good as other artists. (IMO just be thankful it's not like Namie's one photo, one page booklets) XDD

I think ULTRA BLUE was her best, but otherwise, HEART STATION is just the standard in comparision to her other albums.

okay, so I read through everyone's posts and I have to say that I'm stuck in between on this album, I don't think its great (its not better than UB) and I don't think its horrible (its still better than exodus) so I won't make any decisions at least until I get through re-evaluating it. XD
Fight the Blues wasn't a gift from god so to speak, in fact even though it was catchy it was very hard to get into it because there wasn't much of a variety when she sang it. X/ I'm going to be re-listening to the album again, and see if I like it.
I found it very disheartening to hear all the songs I've already heard back to back XD The tracklisting order could have gone a little better, I think.
BUT I am giving it another listen to and see what I think.

I was really hoping for a great album, but Ultra Blue is magnificent in comparison to Heart Station...

Do you think she make a Heart Station tour and she join HEART STATION songs with New ENGLISH ALBUM songs like Ultra blue and Exodus on Utada United...hope she do....

For me, I think the whole of HEART STATION just sounds very ethereal! It's good too, but then song structure wise I really hope there is some variation. I like how experimental Hikki is, but sometimes, I think it's good that she releases something more mainstream? Yup. Something like Hikari would be good.

Are you guys sure that Take 5 is supposed to be cut off? It seems like Flavor Of Life Bonus Track is also cut off. :/

fanmail: I guess that's true, it makes it more of a "rare" song, something that hardcore fans go and find. XD

Yes...HEART STATION sounds ethereal...its a rather dreamy album...which i already have felt on ULTRA BLUE...

the styles of the songs are really similar! Fight the Blues, HEART STATION, Beautiful World, Stay Gold, Celebrate, Take 5, Niji iro Bus...
and that's not really gd for me...

the song that caught my attention was Prisoner of Love..(i love strings!!)..and its different.. (Feels like the Making Love of this album..coz its special..hahaha)

otherwise, this album is rather...bland..but consistent..
its ok for me

This was definitely a solid album. Not as awesome as ULTRA BLUE, but solid, nonetheless. I think I'd like it alot, alot more if I haven't already heard the single tracks about 12391208390128301 times since they were released.

I love the album tracks! I like how they used some parts of HEART STATION for the interlude too, but i kind of agree with you all that they aren't as awesome as ULTRA BLUE's. Oh screw that, HEART STATION pwns :3

Ultra Blue was more dinamic and have some of Wild in it...HS is very diffrent from it xD It is simple and clean LOL XD

I feel like the album would've been better had I not heard the singles sooo much. I'm so sick of FOL and BW especially that I have a tendency to skip them when I listen to this album all the way through.

I feel the same here. 90% of people who listens to HEART STATION skips that 'single songs collection' in the album.
