i don't like the song, but still...its so weird...koda lost her popularity or what?

wow @ TABOO's sales. That's a huge drop...but I'm sure the weekend sales will be better. The song is doing well for downloads right? If it is, then its not like ppl don't like the song, they're just not buying the single.

Of course she did, KINGDOM sold less than half of Black Cherry's sales.

Not a chance. I'd like to see the single even try to reach 80k at most!

Wow, what happened? I know the music industry is unpredictable, but I didn't think it'd be that unpredictable. I thought Koda Kumi was still ridiculously popular in Japan, but I guess I'm judging her by Ayumi Hamasaki standards. Still, I thought TABOO would sell well, given how catchy it is, but maybe it's too urban for the mainstream?

Koda never had high single sales anyway, with the exception of Black Cherries singles. Just look at her single sales for Secret and BEST ~first things~ . Butterfly only sold 125k and it's considered to be one of her biggest hits.

None of the females really are doing that amazing in single sales these days. Namie's 300k in this day and age could be compared to back in her original "boom" when she had three singles in a row sell 1 million+....

I'm not sure what's going on, she had a nice debut but her sales are taking such steep drops

Oh well. I think she still has the #1 for the week unless Porno Graffitti can somehow increase a lot too. No one is doing too well.
