lol. i must be the only person that remotely likes Ultra Music Power. even if the sound is dated now. they're still young, nevertheless, and need to find their style, so i wouldn't mind if they try all sorts of things. but i really enjoy their mature & cool side, as i really enjoy "Mayonaka no Shadow Boy" and "Hitomi no Screen" over "UMP" & "Dreams come true".

i never used to like UMP until last december, lol. i don't mind the sound since i enjoy those type of songs sometimes, but they've matured since then, so more mature-ish sounding songs fit much better for them. i hope it stays that way

i'll NEVER seem to get over dreams come true, though. i'll forever love that song

it's great that they have progress/mature musically & then some as time goes by

I don't think they had a choice. I don't get the Nakayama Yuma hate. I think he's cute. (I'm not saying people on AHS hate him, but I get the feeling a lot of people hate him and his Shadow guys, when he has done nothing wrong and is not even ugly)

i know it's not the kid's fault at all, but people don't really see the JE as the root of it. and it's easier to blame him, since he's the public figure.

i would like him more, if i honestly knew more about him. >_>;; at least with all the other JE golden children, they had success, experience, and activities prior to major JE exposure. Nakayama just seemed to have dropped out of nowehere...and i've been following the Junior unit for some time.

seeing as its NYC, i think this release will be a Nakayama, Yamada, Chinen release only. i think NYC has been established as a permanent unit (from what i've read around). but idk if the "Boys" are in it anymore?

but as for Nakayama Yuma w/ B.I Shadow...i honestly don't have a clue.

i know nothing about nakayama either. i just saw him in the first 2 episodes of hidarime tantei eye and that's it. i didn't see koishite akuma last summer. i do like his voice, though, lol. but i personally don't find him really attractive or anything. i do feel old since he's 2 years younger than me, haha.

^I just think he's cute it's not like I want to date him, haha. If I would've have a problem with artists younger than me I couldn't really enjoy most music, especially KAT-TUN since they are all younger than me. I'm the same age as Arashi. But I don't think it matters. Maybe B.I. Shadow died? I only liked one of them and I don't even remember the name. They were just shadows in the end?

The "boys" are out.

Johnny's Jimusho appears to be betting big on a trio of young stars. 16-year-olds Yuma Nakayama, Ryosuke Yamada, and Yuri Chinen have been rising in popularity through their music and television activities, but now they will be debuting in their own unit, called NYC due to their initials.

The three boys have been getting a lot of exposure in the media in the past couple years. Yamada and Chinen are members of Hey! Say! JUMP, while Nakayama is the leader of the unit Yuma Nakayama with B.I.Shadow. Last year, they formed the core of the temporary 7-member group "NYC boys" (which included the four members of B.I.Shadow), and they even performed at the Kohaku Uta Gassen.

According to the agency, NYC boys will still continue for now, but Nakayama, Yamada, and Chinen will also be active as NYC, without the B.I.Shadow members.

On April 7, NYC will release their first major-label single, a version of the well-known "Yuuki 100%." Originally sung by Hikaru Genji in 1993, it has always been used as the opening theme of the long-running anime series "Nintama Rantaro." Since then, other Johnny's Jimusho groups have taken over singing the same song, including Hey! Say! JUMP last year.

Starting with the March 29 episode of "Nintama Rintaro," NYC's version will be used as the opening theme. NYC will also be providing the show's ending theme, titled "Yume no Tane." That song will be included on the upcoming single.
