How about the "old-fashioned widescreen-in-4:3" PVs, are they cropped? What about the quality?

Yes it also has CMs from poker face till Five^^
But I haven´t watched them all, I was only curious if the 30s CM of Moments is included xD

The PVs have bars on the left and right, the quality is pretty good for such old PVs. I whould have taken a picture but my camera´s battery is empty ><

As for the specs this is written in the booklet:

I mean PVs like this. (Microphone, Mirrocle World, LOVE ~Destiny~, crossroad, GREEN, Moments, part of Me, etc.)

They cropped top & bottom black bars to fit widescreen or they add left & right black bars? (Like above)

No Microphone for example is full screen 16:9
Old 4:3 PVs (like poker face) only hafe bars on the left and right (none top + bottom)
Love Song has bars top + bottom (but not left + right), it seems to be 21:9 format o.o

Since NEXT LEVEL, I was so annoyed when watching GREEN, NEXT LEVEL, Curtain call, which are supposed to be in 16:9 but not. R'n'RC album track PVs and crossroad in Love songs too, I don't know why they didn't release them in real widescreen. (until now

)

the screencap is probably the result of video converting to 4:3, the black bar on top & bottom is actually a 'part' from the video if you know what i mean

cant wait to see fairyland in HD

Did you order it from YA?

Now you mention it, I am kinda scared that mine will be held by the custom, because Amazon always puts the value on the shipping slip outside the box. Does anyone know how much US custom charges this? @@

The Love Song trilogy was shot in 2.35:1 as far as I know. Cinema format.

i had watched the first disc. the older pvs like poker face/you/Trust....(those 8cm discs songs) look like they were upscale, but from M onwards, most of the pv seem to be in full HD.

i really enjoy watching M in good quality.

The wide screen PVs are the PVs that have been shot in widescreen, why would it be any different? avex won't be stupid enough to encode their widescreen PVs in 4:3 or cut 4:3 videos to widescreen formats. If they had done that we would know by now from an angry online-mob of fans haha
