[Charts+sales] A BEST 2 -- THREAD II

B'z doesn't have high album sales ifor the last few years I think (last album, Monster, only sold around 550K last year; Circle in 2005 sold similarly..).

Who will release compilation(s) this year besides ayu and ai-chan??

And yeah, like JE groups, B'z don't have extremely high album sales (or extremely high single sales for that matter)

I guess the biggest chemical effect for ayu will be hikki. If they release a single I bet it will be yearly no. 1 for sure (... unless the song really sucks..)

If Ayu would collaborate with Hikki, many Ayufans would buy it. And if the song is good, many hikkifans would buy it too (somehow hikki fans only buy good stuff.. but then massively buy it... while Ayufans buy everything with her name on it, which resultst into sales that are stable, but no extraordinary peaks)... but.. Ayu and Hikki voices doesn't seem to match at all. A brilliant composer would be needed to make such a thing work.. I think it'd be a great idea.

I would love to see ayu collaborate with hikki...imagine them composing and writing the song together One super duet ballad! I think ayu and hikkis voice is very different from each other and you can tell them apart...so it could be a good thing!

I agree, their voices don't match at all, and I can barely image how that would sound, it would be nice indeed.On the other hand, her voice seems to sound well with Shimatani's and I thought it wouldn't so, XD, you never know^^, the AYU + Hikki may even sound good.

record company isn't a really big problem at all i think.. if so then GLAY x EXILE wouldn't exist (toshiba emi and avex respectively).

but yeah... let's keep on dreaming about hikki x ayu..

EXACTLY! Hikki would comebine with someone in her record company, while Ayumi would stay with an Avex artist. This way they can keep the dough in the system. So basically, Ayumi would pair up with Koda Kumi XDDD becuase right now she is another big hit that Avex has.

I did mention that Glay, from toshiba-emi, teamed up with the exile from avex... different companies aren't a really big problem at all. if they wanna collaborate, i'm sure hikki and ayu will find a way to do so..

I dont mind ayu and utada... Actually I dont mind ayu with anyone as long as the song is nice
