congrats to both A BEST 2! can't believe both still sold pretty well even it's already 4-5 months! now i hope A BEST 2 will boost glitter/fated sales... or at least make it steady for some weeks...

a-nation and the release of the ASIA TOUR DVD should help a bit, too. besides, when I was in japan, I still knew of people buying A BEST 2...but they really do prefer -WHITE- over -BLACK-...the chaperone on our trip bought -WHITE- because her host sister recommended it to her over -BLACK- because it was "better..."

Well most people bought both I suppose so it's fine...
The difference is les than 20,000 between the albums.

However ayu sold more copies this year then kobukuro. And in Overall sales more than any artist on the list except for Mr. Children
(Don't know about Avril but towards Japanese artists anyway). It's pretty comforting.
She still brings more than a million copies in a year which is awesome and almost no japanese artist can afford to do it.
