Darn, I missed last week's GRA. Looks like it was fun!
Arashi isn't going on the Kohaku. Oh well...

I'm saddened by the news of no Arashi on Kohaku =(
Was looking forward to seeing them...

I should probably try another episode of GRA...I only saw the first and didn't like it...but it might be better now.

Arashi was rumoured to do Kohaku? WHY NOT?! They were like the top JE group this year? But I didn't know Kohaku even had groups on there, I thought it was just solo artists.

^TOKIO and SMAP were and will be on it. And also mihimaruGT was there last year I think (for the woman's team xD).

Well TOKIO and SMAP are biggies, but so is Arashi! They better be able to perform next year!

^I'm not sure, actually. However, I found this from last month. I guess it was a poll about who people want on Kohaku. But what pisses me off is that TOKIO was three spots ahead of Arashi yet they got on. =[[[[

Arashi or any of the other acts that aren't TOKIO & SMAP never attend Kouhaku because of Johnny's Countdown (think Ayu's CDL , but w/ just Johnny's). though, only TOKIO attends both. they must be busy transporting back & forth. XD

their CDL & Kouhaku have conflicting times. but anyway, i can't wait to see both!!

GRA isn't too bad, I guess it depends on the topic. I found the show about "wagashi" (japanese sweets) very interesting. But the one about er... "jizou" (buddha statues?!?! sorry for my ignorance) not so exciting.

well. i don't really know. XD but, i guess it would be a hassle to transfer all the units back and forth, seeing if Arashi / KAT-TUN / NEWS would be invited to Kouhaku as well. i guess they just leave TOKIO to attend both.

I just don't get it? Is it like their game show? Honestly, I've only seen like the first ten minutes of the first episode and realized I was really only paying attention to their looks. lol.



Maybe only the sempai are allowed that privilege. Have V6 performed at Kouhaku? I'm sure that they'll let Arashi perform for like their tenth anniversary in '09 or something. At least I hope so.

^It seems not. I've checked and didn't see neither KinKi Kids nor V6. It seems that TOKIO and SMAP are the only ones who perform at Kouhaku.

You think he had a mullet? It was just permed and long. Ugh, I hate Aiba with short black hair. It reminds me of the ARASHIC days where they all looked horrible. =[

I think Aiba's hair's cute! LSS on FNS was awesome!

From what I've gathered, GRA is supposed to teach us about Japanese culture in details... details that even the average Japanese doesn't know. I guess that making some parts look like a quiz makes it more interesting???
