I thought the Picture Diary was full of pictures that recorded what she did in her days (recording, lives, day trips), and the Picture Gallery are other pictures she's done that don't relate to things like that (like random sketches and ideas). Maybe it's nice to keep them seperated.

New Picture Diary update~
It's a picture of Kanon's new outfit~
Kanon says the dress was handmade, and she says the shoes she wore for the single covers were quite high but had a lovely design (I really want to see them now since I'm a huge shoe person!) and they were also like 13cm (Isn't that five inches?). She also says it's easy to move in this dress since the material is soft and light.

But from it, I think, I gather that with the limited edition of Suna no Oshiro, if you put it in your computer, you get to see Kanon's first live from the INDIVIDUAL FASHION EXPO V.
