IMO the best ayu remix ever is Microphone (THE LOWBROS)

If you're talking about ayu-mi-x 7 HOUSE, then I'd definitely agree, but better than all of 7, no. 6 has my most favorite remixes to date, I love it!

was a really surprise to find all these vanguard tracks:

Step You (The Young Punx! Remix)
Talkin' 2 Myself (Stonebrigde Remix)
Heaven (Daishi Dance Remix with Chieko Kinbara)
Beautiful Fighters (Al-P MSTRKRFT remix)
Alterna (Freeform Five Remix Edit)
Together When... (Co-Fusion Remix)

ayumix7 (house) doesn't have anything "5 stars"
only old fashion predictible dance remixes
Yeah~ Decision, About you and No way to say are brilliant too.
Not to say that 7 HOUSE is bad, its just not very creative or interesting as 6 is for me, the Beautiful fighters remix is probably the best Ayumi remix ever and that should say alot.

I prefer the single remixes as well. Not all the ones you mentioned, but Ladies Night ~another night~, blossom (clockwork yellow remix), Microphone (THE LOWBROWS remix), Days (8-bits of tears YMCK remix), GREEN (CMJK Spring Storm mix) are such strong mixes! I hope she'll have some more remixes from the Love Songs album in her next single~

ayu-mi-x 6 -SILVER- has some really massive tunes on it, like YOJI's remix of GAME, or CARL CRAIG's version of part of Me. It has been the first ayu-mi-x album back then, that I really fell in love with.

No doubts that YOJI's GAME remix comes up with the hardest and heaviest bassline ever heard on an official remix of an Ayu song.

Yes yes, I am ayu-mi-x 6 -SILVER- fan

I find the GAME remix way to repetitive - has some great sounds to it but no melody whatsoever.

^ Really? I think GAME x YOJI is one of the best remixes out of ayu-mi-x 6. Beautiful Fighters & Together When... remixes are sick too <3

I enjoyed Heaven on 6, but over all I would vote that silver 6 and 7 were much better then gold.

Actually ayu-mi-x 6 wasn't that bad. And maybe, I'm one of the few persons who prefer GOLD over SILVER lol.
But, ayu-mi-x 7 it's much better imo.

i prefer 6 over 7. even if 6 had some pretty bad remixes on it, it was at least a lot more versatile than 7. the remixes from step you, to game, to heaven, to beautiful fighters, to startin', to no way to say were all so new and different from each other. for 7 I felt like the house and trance were lacking individuality in each song. It had some good ones like monochrome, vogue, and days, but overall it just meshed together so blandly. I feel like this trance album is the least aggressive of the 3 we've had in the past.

Yeap, I don't know how, but 6 seems to fit between each other and works well as a whole disc. Even 7 are by themes, it doesn't turn out well, don't know what was the problem, maybe avex, the DJs weren't risky, none of them know the songs and try to research, not even feel it, hated the song because deathlines, whatever.
Finding an album wich every single song being great, to be sincere, is super weird.

I really enjoyed ayu-mi-x 6, too. The "alterna" mix is far and away my favorite, but I liked a fair number of the other tracks. I think the only ones I consistently skip are the remixes of "Greatful Days," "JEWEL," and "part of Me." Now I'm just waiting to go home to my boxset to listen to ayu-mi-x 7 in its entirety...

It's hard to pick a favorite Ayu remix ever. GAME x YOJI is really good, but I wish the bass was throughout the whole song. I also like STEP YOU x THE YOUNG PUNX! and M remixed by Above & Beyond. Also blossom (Clockwork yellow remix).

Overall I'd say ayu-mi-x 7 was lacking something, but it wasn't bad in the least. I probably like 6 better due to the variety of styles and different takes even within the same styles, but the covers of 7 are way better.
