Where to get the leaks? Damn I haven't listened to EPop for like ages.. So I dunno the good places to download English songs (unlike Jpop... LOL).. Anywayz it's quite amazing to see that lots of people like Britney's new album, so wanna see if it's that wonderful

The album is disappointing. (I caved) But maybe I'll get used to it? 'Piece Of Me' is crap though, along with 'Get Naked' and 'Top Solider' but the rest are pretty good. Nothing amazing except for 'Gimme More' :[
Another thing, the demo-tape cover is 10x better than the actual cover. x] |

^ Holy cow. What a review. o_O Yeah, you just need to adapt. There's no way anyone can listen to Blackout and come back with a review like that. How on Earth could you hate Piece of Me and Toy Soldier??? Look up the lyrics to those songs also if you haven't already; it helps when you know what she's saying. Seeing the lyrics for Toy Soldier (the chorus) sure made me love the song a lot more.
Anyway, which songs do you actually like at the moment?

To an extent I agree with austin about 'Gimme More' being the best track. With 'Britney' and 'In The Zone' the lead single's didn't correlate with the style of the albums, and the better single's from each were still to come.
'Gimme More' was a good sampler of the style of Blackout, and as such seems to be the standout track. Get Naked is the only one I agree with him though on it's crapness. |

Slave gets my vote for best track on the "Britney" album.
 But no one track alone could of represented either album, because both albums had a wide variety of genres of songs. The reason Gimme More represents Blackout so well is because most of the songs on Blackout are similar in genre. And I'd say they those MATM as the lead single for ITZ just because they wanted the public to know that "Britney was back", and then once everyone knew they would blow their minds with Toxic.

I love all the songs...they are all very modern and hot, except I just wish Britney weren't so messed up. I am torn, maybe if she gets her life back on track I'll purchase the album then.

I'm totally buying this album! I'm not an avid Brit fan, but this is a good album, and I seriously couldn't care less for her personal life. I hope she gets back together, so she can keep doing good music. I'm in love with Piece of Me.

I'm glad everyone else hates Get Naked, as I thought I might be the only one here. I honestly don't think it will ever grow on me, even a little bit. That guy utterly ruins it. He should be slapped for putting himself in the track. I'm not a huge fan of Toy Soldier either though. It's just repetitive and very...bleh.
I'll of course be buying it though, even if I don't care about supporting the still unstable Brit. I don't know why I'm doing it actually, maybe just to support good music in general and not break my perfect record of buying all her albums. As for her best song on "Britney", Overprotected without a doubt. It's probably my favorite Britney Spears song of all time, and I think it's highly underrated. A lot of people I know have never even heard the song, which I find absolutely ridiculous.
