does YamaPi lip-synch (or sings live half/lip-synchs half) all his solos when he's performing them? ...i don't know if i've seen a full live performance before. o_o.

that's what i kinda don't like about NEWS sometimes. i think they rely on lip-synching too much (at least from concert reports & limited performances i've seen). i mean, i know all Johnny's lip-synch (except for TOKIO ), but i think NEWS is one of the groups that lip-synchs a lot.

anyone want to prove me wrong though? lol. i would LOVE to see some live performances.

^I think NEWS only lip-synch for the chorus parts on tv performances.
They only manage to sing live for the beginning parts of the songs.
But for concerts, I'm not so sure. Do they lip-synch during concerts?

yeah, idols are notorious for lip-synching. but i've come to terms with it. i know the boys are very busy and sometimes they just can't focus on just music or vocal training (with dramas, photo shoots, & everything in between!). it's very understandable, at least that's what i think.

..ah. i haven't seen a NEWS con, so i can't comment whether they lip-synch the whole thing or most of it. but, i've read a concert report and the girl was saying she really loved the concert, but it was along the lines of 70-80% of it being lip-synched or something. watching TOKIO, KAT-TUN, & KANJANI8's concerts, i would say most of it was actually live, esp. TOKIO & K8. but then again, they're the most music oriented groups in JE.

I've watch a bunch of diff. parts of NEWS cons on youtube and I wanna say that it sounds really good and that they r prolly lip-syncing but then i remembered Ryo Nishikido's solo song "code" he always sings the who thing live and it always sounds awful >.< great on the CD tho lol

I don't know for the concerts since I only just saw some parts
but I don't think they do a lot of l-s. in concerts

i don't think Tego really does much if at all...
he is such a lil friggin diva! but he does have an awesome voice! I love his parts in Bambina! ^^ "OH OH OH OHH WOAH~OH UH OH!" (the part after the 2nd chorus)

and i adore the French YamaPi CM ^^ when he says "Bon jour, madame!", I melt! lol

i actually think Tego is one of the members that does the least lip-synching. he does have a good voice! Ryo sings his solos live too. i saw "code" at an episode of Shounen Club and it was definitely live.

i'm glad u got ur NEWS stuff, minna! i definitely liked their "pacific" album.

yup me too. I don't think Tego lip-synch alot.
I'm really very impressed of Tegomasu's live performances.
It was really very good. Both Tego and Massu really have very good voices.

Ryo seems to sound pretty bad when he's singing live... he strains his voice alot... but i love the way he sounds on CDs ^^ *melts*
