No it won't. You forgot the Chinese version that they're releasing soon. We will never escape Nobody. Next they will sing it in Spanish.

Anyway, they been selling like crazy at Justice. Still waiting for the album release. I think they got way more of those in just pre orders. So hopefully this success with Nobody will get them moving on that.

With their successes in the States, the Wonder Girls are ready to hit up the Orient again! Well, they aren't exactly abandoning their American activities and making a comeback in Korea, but the pop quintet is planning to take a step through the doors of China before the end of this year.

Sources confirmed that the girls would be performing, you guessed it, Nobody at the China Mobile Festival to represent Korea on October 28. China Mobile, one of the country's biggest telecommunications companies, collaborated with a culture & arts committee to organize this high-profile event, which will brag guests such as Jackie Chan and Zhang Ziyi.

Regarding an actual career in the country, JYP Entertainment has eluded a potential Chinese debut in the past, leaving fans on the edge of their seats, wondering what plans lie ahead for the beloved fivesome. Although the girls haven't been actively promoting in China, a JYPE representative recently revealed that they are currently making such preparations. It has also been confirmed that the Wonder Girls will hold their first solo concert in China in Shanghai on December 2, which is only a month and a half away. The girls are popularly titled as "Asia's Little Sisters", and with this performance, they'll get a chance to show that off in yet another Asian country. United States and now China... these girls are really taking over the world!

WONDER GIRLS BACK IN KOREA!

The Wonder Girls are back in Korea and they just held their first press conference today at 2PM - ironic, I know...

It's been 7 months since the girls left Korea, but they returned with good news as they reached the 76th spot on the TOP 100 Billboard chart with their english version of Nobody. Yes, this has been beaten to death, but that's what the press conference was about, their US success!

Each of the girls started the conference with a little message and talked about their time in America. The mood was somewhat sombre when Mimi teared while speaking.

Yenny:
"I'm so happy to be back after so long, and I'm actually kind of nervous because there are so many camera flashes."



Sun:
"It's so nice to be back in Korea after so long."



Yubin:
"It's nice to be back and talk to everyone again."



Sohee and Mimi while smiling:
"Being back after so long with so many people here, it's making us a little nervous."



Mimi:
"When I first went to America, I cried every single day. I think it was because I'm so young and I was also lonely. It took some time to get used to it, it was also difficult meeting people because I couldn't speak English. However, because I had the other members, they gave me the strength and courage. Also, as America accepted our song little by little, that also gave me strength."



Yenny:
"I was so thrilled that people at the Jonas Brothers concerts knew our music."



Wonder Girls:
"In America right now, Yenny is definitely the most popular."



JYP:
"I feel so proud of the Wonder Girls. For the past 7 months they suffered and went through a lot of rough times, but they worked so hard. They are truly amazing. They may not be the prettiest, the best singers, or the best dancers in the world, but I know for a fact that they are the hardest working and kindest singers in the world."



Sun:
"Although JYP says we suffered a lot, we also felt and experienced a lot of new things. JYP also gave us a lot of nice things to help us through the rough times."



JYP then shocked everyone by stating:
"Right now there are no retro artists in the states. The Wonder Girls will have another upgraded concept in America, but it will be similar. At the moment we have no plans for any activities in Korea. They are doing well in America. We didn't go there just to gain more fame in Korea, we went to America because we wanted to succeed in the US market. Moving forward, our plans are to continue in the US and European markets. A lot of people are doubting us, but I want to break that mindset. It is now the beginning and we will give it our all. Even if we fail, we will fail with pride."



Starting in November, the Wonder Girls will be featured in many American newspapers, magazines and will also attend TV programs. In addition, next year they will release a full album in the states. The girls will also be making a foray into the Chinese market before the end of the year with the release of a mandarin version of Nobody.

To wrap things up, Mimi talked about how much she loves Girls' Generation as well as f(x). To which JYP stated, "I think I have similar tastes with Yang Hyun Suk, so for me, 2NE1 leaves the biggest impression in my mind."

I want the album!! I never knew Nobody is so famous at US. But after I watched their success in MNet Award just now, I really impressed with them. Nobody is my favorite song from WG. I never feel bored to the songs although I've heard it since last year.

I'm waiting for Nobody other version instead of Spanish and Chinese. I'll collect all the different version. I love the Tango version very much!

it’s yenny in korea! haha
just got back from shanghai, china and i’m about to leave now ..!
the show in shanghai was totally awesome! i mean all the “ge mi peng you men ( fans )” was truly warming, sweet,
everybody was standing, dancing with us, it was INCREDIBLE!!
and speaking of the food there..!! OMG it’s soooo good! you guys should taste “xiao long bao(dumpling)” there.!! X)
i was a little sad since we couldn’t get to see “pearl tower” there, maybe next time.. !haha
what was i about to tell….. yes, we’re going to LA !!!! why? that’s a secret..! but you’ll find out soon~

The 2009 MTV Style Gala was held at the Shanghai Grand Theater on the December 2nd, 7pm. South Korea’s popular idol group Wonder Girls received the “Best Asia Artist Of The Year” award that night, below is the transcript of interview at backstage.

Host: Lets welcome the Wonder Girls to our backstage interview room.

Wonder Girls: Firstly, we felt very honored, thank you everyone. We are happy & honored to be able to receive this award today.

Host: As we all know, the Wonder Girls held a concert in Shanghai, how was it?

Wonder Girls: Yesterday, the concert was a success, the unforgettable part was, when closing to the end of the concert, all of the fans stood up & sang along & dance along with us.

Question (from reporter): Have you ever thought that you would be so popular?

Wonder Girls: We had never expected to be so popular, we’re happy to have so many people liking our song “Nobody”, we’ll workeven harder from now on.
