Someone on JPM said that it couldn't be released on the 25th because the Subaru soundtrack comes out on the 18th and since Faraway is the main theme of Subaru, the single can't be released after the soundtrack is released.

It does make sense if you consider that the soundtrack is like an album and Faraway is the single to promote it. Though Kuu's single is a triple A side so Faraway isn't the only song, but the main focus of the single. Like how Moon's focus was Moon crying.

This is getting really out of hand now. I don't understand avex's marketing policy at all now. All of the Kuu releases on the same day? Okay. :p I wonder if the other of the compilation album will be fighting with Ayu's album of the top spot on March 25th since NEXT LEVEL will be released on the same day. But even if this happens I don't see Kuu beating Ayu.

I hope that the covers and tracklisting will be published soon because I wanna see those.

I don't see Kuu beating Ayu.

It is possible I think, but not now. If it was a studio album or a REAL BEST, not some useless compilation with one or two new tracks & remix album. Even Ayu ayu-mix sales wasn't that good. Driving Hits remixes should be REALLY GOOD!

I hope that the covers and tracklisting will be published soon because I wanna see those.

Compared to what exactly? Kuu was at her peak when she released her 2 first best-of and Black Cherry. I might as well say that Ayu is beating Kuu with MY STORY and (m)u.

GUILTY: first week sales is 432,113 copies
TRICK: first week sales is 253,346 copies

Knowing that Ayu usually do very well in the first week and that Koda's 2 new best-of aren't really exciting (kinda like BEST~BOUNCE & LOVERS~... they aren't "real" best complilations), I'm pretty sure Ayu is going to be #1 that week. Unless another huge artist is releasing an album.

frankly I don't think it's fair to compare the sales for both albums especially since GUILTY's 1st + 2nd week being combined together & obviously she got an added advantage unlike TRICK

It's fair though to compare GUILTY's 1st+2nd weeks and TRICK's 1st+2nd weeks combined.
Hopefully though TRICK will sell at least as GUILTY's first 2 weeks sales.
It appears it will be hard but it might happen.

It really isn't fair to compare GUILTY and TRICK since Kingdom came after GUILTY & outsold it and TRICK is like 1 year after + an economy crisis going on. We need to see what NEXT LEVEL gets in the first week to be able to compare TRICK with.

TOHOSHINKI's album is out on March 25th too but I don't know how popular they are.. could they be a threat? And according to fan-net, EXILE is releasing the Ultimate box thing... gosh so many releases

Personally, I don't think Kuu will manage to get #1 :\ Though I really hope she does

just kingdom first week sold in 420k it's just like 1+2 week for gulity

and Best second and miss understood

best second got more than 1800k in japan only

and miss understood got 800k and finally she got 1800k in whole asia

I honestly believe that if Kumi Koda's material was the only stuff being released in the Month of March it still would sell poorly.

Um... It would take Kuu YEARS to catch up, she already has close to the same amount of singles as Ayu... Even if Ayu's streak broke with Rule/Sparkle, there's no way Kuu could catch up in a relatively fast time period.
