Promoting an alcoholic drink seems a little edgy to me.

I can't imagine Meisa going from promoting this to something like ice cream or whatever.

Or maybe I'm wrong? I don't think any of the bigger JPop stars have ever affiliated themselves with alcohol, have they?

as long as she's of age, it's just like any other kind of promotion i guess. it doesn't really change my image of her i guess.

& to answer your question, koda kumi used to advertise for Kirin beer.

she has turned 21 this year & in Japan , the legal age to drink's 20 so I guess it's fine ?

as long as she's not promoting something like ... I don't know 'weird' stuff , then I'm fine with it

& eee tomorrow the SHOCK -Unmei- PV will air in Japan

i keep trying to like her - but i can't.
SHOCK actually sounds kind of cool and the PV looks pretty and I like the dancing, but she's not a very good singer. Maybe I can get used to it? s idk...

I don't have a problem with her promoting alcohol either and it doesn't change my view of her, rather what I am interested in is if it's going to influence perceptions of her in Japan.

We all know how much Japan loves kawaii women so if she doesn't present herself as such, or isn't accepted as such, won't her popularity suffer?

The song isn't that great though. hellcat songs were definitely better.

SHOCK -Unmei- is a grower imo , at least now I understand as to why she's using it to promote a Coke x Vodka drink sorta haha

after hearing shock in full.. the preview did not do it any justice! i really like it!

the instrumental is pretty interesting, it sounds kind of like classical music mixed with edgier beats. the pv is pretty fun too, i love the chair dancing.

it's a step down from hellcat imo, but not bad at all!

I saw the SHOCK -Unmei- PV earlier on & yes budget wise , it's a step down & it took me a while to get used to the PG rated Kuroki *points to Bad Girl & Criminal

but song wise , I like it even though it's not as catchy as the songs found in hellcat

having said that , DAMNNNN Sister Angela looks GREAT in the PV . I thought she might be wearing the same outfits that you see in the SHOCK -Unmei- covers

my fave outfit's the one of her with the yellow jacket , her hairstyle's <3 too

its ok for me...I dont like when she pronounces SHOCK lol...
i really like some parts..like the melody after the Chorus...
and that classical piece playing...comes in at some awkward points...

its not bad..

my favorite is meisa in the yellow jacket, too! so pretty! anyway, i like the PV, despite it's simplicity, lol. the song is too catchy, though. especially the chorus. the dancing was pretty cool, too.
