i seriously have never seen any tattoo except on the feel DVD cover and the Taiwan performance. maybe it's a temporary tattoo? or they just cover it idk.

Yeah, it has to be real. It's been there forreevverr, revealing itself on and off throughout her career. She manages to hide it well, though.

Her tattoo is real, there are some other (but rarely) lives where you can see it, just like a-nation '08.

Tattoos still aren't that well received in Japan. So most artists, especially if they're female, cover them up. Unless you have a bad boy/bad girl image.

It's just that, that location is the up-and-coming tramp stamp location for a tattoo, eh heh. And I don't know about you guys, but plenty of ****s I've met have had butterfly tattoos, especially in semi-revealing places (such as the upper breast area, or the hip).
Not saying that's Kumi (I actually think Ayu's probably been "around" more than she, ah hah XD), but...yeah.

it's not the butterfly itself it's the place it's located. i automatically lose some respect for anyone who has a tattoo in that area, kumi is no exception. at least she covers it a lot though.
