The 'CD only' version of 'FIVE' comes with a 'BRILLANTE' "only" version of the song. It's only 5:58min long. I separated the 'Why... feat. URATA NAOYA' track from 'BRILLANTE' because I want every single track to be listed in the album folder separately.

random fact, i just read that Tales of Xillia recieved a 39/40 in the Japanese game magazine Famitsu which is really prestigious with their reviews and it is the highest rated Tales of game ever, so due to the amazing results i think it will be a big seller, resulting in great exposure for Ayu! and FIVE

that's funny, famitsu being prestigious. The more you pay them, the higher the score ; ) Famitsu has sold its soul long ago.

btw, who can share a code for CDL making on facebook?

When a game gets 40/40 in famitsu you ALWAYS hear about it even in western countries(and the upper 30s in fan regions, too), that's enough for it to be prestigious. And from what I've seen I often agree with their ratings. No horrible game ever got a really high ranking I think - at least none I played.

Ah their rankings used to mean something 5+ years ago. It seems that many games get good rankings now ^^ Even FFXIII got 39/40 and we all know the game ain't THAT great.

Yeah, Final Fantasy XIII - with Sayuri Sugawara (http://sugawarasayuri.jp/)...

Maybe these two games comparable?

Nintendogs got a perfect score too. Famitsu reviews are useless.

Nintendogs is the type of game the Japanese love. It was the new Tamagotchi. And the technical aspects were done REALLY well.
Famitsu rates very, very japanese, what is typically japanese often gets good ratings, but I don't think that makes it less prestiguous.

What does she have to do with anything? They aren't rating songs...

Both of the games are RPGs, though FINAL FANTASY is the most famous RPG title along with Dragon Quest, while Tales of is gaining more and more popularity, but it's far from the fame of FF.

Well, Sayuri Sugawara did the theme song of Final Fantasy XIII (Kimi ga Iru Kara, 2009), but that's trivial...

I wouldnt have minded it, seeing as the last summer single we got was s/s and that was over 2 years ago!

EDIT:
"Namco Bandai previously hinted that Tales of Xillia was on track to see record pre-orders for the series. Now Tales series producer Makoto Yoshizumi has confirmed it via Twitter. Two weeks ahead of release, and the PS3 title is officially the most pre-ordered Tales game ever, with 200,000 pre-orders, the game would already have sold near the equivalent of the Xbox 360 version of Vesperia and half that of the PS3 version."

Clearly this is going to be a very popular game, hopefully there is a coorelation between the success of the game and FIVE!

Agree with FFXIII not being that great compared to other FF. If it was a stand-alone game without any ties to FF, people maybe wouldn't have judged it this harshly.

Other than that, I think that nearly perfect scores are still a sign for a good game. Tales games are always nice (except spin-offs like the ToS one, I never got over that ), and ToS was one of my favourite RPGs ever. Tales has an reputation + paired with a good rating + PS3 should mean high sales and exposure for Progress too. Opening sequences are always beautiful, so there's a high chance that people actually listen to the song and decide to buy it. (I didn't know till now that there was a song for FFXIII, but I always liked to listen to the Tales songs before I started playing).
