I think she can decide for herself, you guys are all boring with 'break thing', I mean, every year we have same discussion. If you are bored with her music go listen to something else. Why would she shut down her creativity just for the sake of fans who are tired of her.

Ill see if I can go to London. She always comes when I have exams.

I think she should take a break and have a child. She can still write songs and do some recording, just give up most of her hectic schedule...no touring and no 'crazy busy'.

I think she's really gonna regret not having a child when she's older

there probably a good reason why she still hasn't consider being a mom.

people think they have a good reason, but they really don't.

In Ayu's case, she's a workaholic, who doesn't want to disappoint her fans.

So many career people put off having kids only to regret it, especially the ones who miss their chance completely and end up childless.

You really have no idea what some peoples reasons are for something like that so you really shouldn't make such definite statements. As you said, that sort of thing is life changing and not everyone can do it, some people don't do it, some people won't do it, and it doesn't mean they'll regret it either.

What Ayu does is her own business; in my opinion, as long as she's happy and enjoying what she's doing then she should keep doing it. She could be forced into taking a break and be completely miserable regardless of what she does; is that worth it just for taking a break?

As long as someone is happy just let them do what they want; she's not hurting anyone really.

I don't think Ayu needs a break for musical reasons or anything like that, but if she's burning herself out physically I would hope she would take a break to rest if she feels overwhelmed. She's use to the hectic life style so I assume she knows her boundaries. I don't want her pushing herself beyond the breaking point on anyone's account.

But... what is Ayu doesn't want kids? EVER?

My sister has decided a long time ago that she would not have kids, and so she's 39 and doesn't have any kids, and she doesn't plan to have any in the future either.

Having kids is not for everyone. It's not because a majority of people have kids that it's something everyone HAS to do.

It's a CHOICE.

I find it kind of disturbing that you think people should have kids as if it's life or death kind of thing....

Every year different members join and it's quite normal in 12 years the thread got repeated..I don't think anyone related ayu's break to the boredom of her music, i just think they're worried for her health.

Ayu has been going for 13 years now, and all of the work she has now probably isn't much compared to when she was at her peak. only she knows what's best for her and if she feels that she needs to rest, then she will. otherwise let her continue doing what she loves, and let's be happy for her.

I absolutley agree with this.

No clue why there are always fans saying she should have a break/hiatus, oh and she looks so tired, she should work less etc xD

You know, my mom is working each day from 3.30am to 6pm, the whole year, except sundays, and she is older than Ayu, so I would say: Ayu can absolutely continue with her work like she always did. It's an enjoyable job compared to the jobs other people have to work at each and every day.

I don't think Ayu would know what to do with herself if she took a break. She loves doing what she does, or else she wouldn't do it anymore. I'd love to see her spend more time with her hubby, but that's not something she would "normally" do... if you know what I mean...

Completely agree, she might have tons of responsabilities and stress due to her job, but she's got LOADS of cash and a lot of power (people who works for her) so her life is VERY COMFORTABLE compared to other people who has to do dangerous/exhausting jobs to make it.

It would be nice to see her with a kid, but doing that would mean to dismiss her career and taking a very long hiatus, and i'm not really sure she is willing to do that, her job is her life. I really can't see her leaving everything just to be a mom and forgetting he rmusic... that would go completely against her, i think

And good luck to the guys who go to see her in London, hope you'll have great time with her!

The adoration of fans is no substitute for an amazing little girl or boy that is part of you and something you have grown and taught calling you mama and wanting you to give them a hug.

I think the same. And, what's more, (and I don't want to start any fight or drama here, but,) what's wrong with that? I mean, why she HAS to be a mom? If she doesn't have childrens right now, there must be a reason. Maybe she doesn't want, or she doesn't think she's prepared, or even she never thought it.. Whatever!

Don't know, but I think that is something really intimate, unique, and personal, different for everyone. The same with marriage. A lot of people thought that she never could be married, or at least that it would be really late.. and look what happened!

Ayu is really unpredictable, and she's really confident with every thing she does. Why having a child just by her age? Let it be! What has to come, it will come =)

And about the London thing.. WOW! A month.. is a long time!

LOVE SONGS was really disappointing to me, so I hope that London inspires her in the same way like the last time =)
